The Space Needle is Seattle's most famous landmark, and it's truly spectacular in person. It's massive, and when you're standing at the top, looking out over all of North West Washington, the views are simply breathtaking. I love that Matt takes Nic up to the top to look out over "his" city. It's a tender moment in TIED WITH ME that I'll never forget.

(from TIED WITH ME)

I nod, not knowing what to say. I’m learning that not only is Matt Montgomery sex on a stick, but he’s just plain…kind.

I’m in trouble.

“Where are we going?”

We’ve stopped by the base of the Space Needle and thrown our empty cups into the trash.

“Up the Needle,” he replies with a raised brow. “You’ve never seen it.”

My mouth drops for a moment, and then I clap my hands and bounce on the balls of my feet. “Awesome!”

“Come on.”

He buys our tickets and leads me into the elevator.

“Have I mentioned that I’m afraid of heights?” I ask as we climb higher and higher.

Matt laughs and then wraps his arm around my shoulders, hugging me against his side. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.”

The doors open, and I forget my fear of heights.

“Oh, it’s so beautiful.”

I walk to the railing and gaze out at the city that I’ve come to love so much. It’s dark now, and there is a sea of glowing lights below us. The air is still warm. There’s a light breeze, making the ends of my hair tickle my cheek.

“Come this way.” Matt holds his hand out for mine and leads me around to the opposite side of the deck that looks out over the sound. We can see lit-up ferries and boats floating over the water.

“Gorgeous,” I whisper.

“Yes,” he murmurs.

I glance up to find him looking down at me.

“You’re a charmer,” I inform him with a laugh.

“One thing you’ll learn about me, little one, is that I rarely say what I don’t mean.”

We’re standing side by side, not touching, watching the city around us. It’s amazingly quiet up here.

Peaceful.

Suddenly, Matt reaches over and grasps my hand in his, linking our fingers. He doesn’t look down at me, just holds my hand as we watch our city.

I take a deep breath and let it out slowly.

Okay, maybe Bailey is right. I need to give this a chance.

From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the With Me in Seattle Series comes the end of a saga…

Dominic Salvatore seemingly has everything a man could want. He’s found a new relationship with his father and the entire Montgomery family. His vineyard, Cuppa di Vita, is a success. There’s only one thing that eludes him: a certain driven, intelligent, and sexy as hell blonde named Alecia.

Alecia works tirelessly building her event planning business. It’s the most important part of her life. Despite the beautiful, lavish weddings she organizes, Alecia is convinced that the idea of true love is a myth. While Dominic is a sexy, intriguing man, welcoming the handsome Italian into her bed, and her life, is a risk she’s not so sure she’s willing to take.

However Dominic isn’t used to taking no for an answer, and it’s not long before these two are burning up the sheets and discovering a connection that neither can deny. But will it be strong enough to last forever?

“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, tesoro.” – Dominic Salvatore

This was start to finish the perfect way to wrap up the With Me series. Dominic and Alecia have been pulled into the Montgomery extended family, though for different reasons. Alecia is the family’s favorite event coordinator and party planner and her attendance at so many special family moments has not gone unnoticed. While Dominic is a Montgomery by blood, he grew up a Salvatore and didn’t know his father until after his mother’s death. He has been enfolded into the Montgomery clan without question (or at least without too much drama considering the circumstances).

As Alecia is putting the final preparations in place for Will Montgomery and Meg McBride’s wedding set to take place on Dominic’s vineyard, Dominic has a heavy hand in making sure Alecia has what she needs from the family. And though he has been trying to catch Alecia’s eye for some time, his luck finally turns during that busy week.

Dominic and Alecia don’t have an easy time of it, though from early looks it seems they should. But Alecia has some things in her past that cloud her judgement of the future and those blocks make it difficult for Dominic to work his way into her life.

I loved the Italian member of the Montgomery clan, and getting to see more than glimpses of him was a blast. He is such a perfect blend of Italian and American.

Beyond the family bond, the bonds of true friendship run through this whole family. When the women get together to let loose, hilarity ensues as usual (as the mental filters go away and no topic is taboo). And the way they come together to nudge each other in the right direction always leaves me smiling at their methods.

I love the way this huge family interacts throughout each novel. Longtime readers can see where each of the previous couples are at without bogging down the focal storyline, while new readers won’t feel like they are getting spoilers from previous books by picking up the series midway.

At the end of this novel I have such mixed feelings. On one hand, I am sad to see it end. The Montgomery extended family is one that I have loved from the beginning and as Seattle is the home of my heart, each time I open a With Me book it’s like I’ve gone home again. But at the same time, each couple has had their happy ending and are now living their ever after. So stretching the series further would just upset the happy that this family has built.

Ultimately, this was the perfect ending to this series. I can’t think of a single thing that didn’t work for me, except that as I read it I kept thinking I could never read this series for the first time again. But though I can’t have that first time again with any Montgomery, Williams, McKenna, or Nash, I can (and will) certainly return to them when I feel a need to visit home and family.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
And don’t forget the rest of the With Me in Seattle Series…
