Sugar Free (Sugar Bowl #3)
Expected October 11, 2016

Sela and Beck’s deliciously sinful tale of sex, lies, and vengeance reaches its explosive conclusion in the final chapter of Sawyer Bennett’s Sugar Bowl trilogy, which began with the novels Sugar Daddy and Sugar Rush.

For years Sela Halstead dreamed of revenge, but the quest for payback has been anything but sweet. Now, once again, she finds herself at the mercy of Jonathon Townsend, his hands crushing the very breath from her body. And even though she escapes with her life, Sela fears she may never recover. In desperate need of shelter and comfort, she runs to the one man she can trust. Beckett North has stood by Sela since the beginning. But can he handle the brutal truth?

Beck will do anything to protect what is his—and make no mistake, Sela belongs to him, heart and soul. The passion between them runs hot, even as their world begins to unravel. With the legacy of his ruthless business partner hanging in the balance, Beck stands to lose everything: his fortune, his family, his freedom. But each touch of Sela’s mouth on his skin, her nails down his back, makes it harder to let her go—and it might not even be his choice to make.

This conclusion is full of tense moments, secrets, lies, risks, and cover ups. The characters face anger, guilt, remorse, and fear. Their present and future happiness are on the line and they are fighting to keep it.

But it will take a miracle to get out of the mess they find themselves in.

I loved Beck and Sela. Their connection, the fact that they never expected to be each other's missing pieces, and how they embraced each other's strengths and weaknesses.

He is such a strong, smart, and sweet man. All he cares about is Sela and being her rock and protector. And Sela has survived and persevered through horrible things. This has really been her story of strength, determination, risk, and revenge. She thought she was finally getting some happiness, but circumstances have become challenging and at times feel hopeless. They have some definite trials and tribulations to deal with and it is compelling to follow along and see if they can possibly find a way out.

What is the best way to fight for their future? Will Sela find redemption, closure, and true happiness? Can true love win?

I liked the side characters of Dennis, Caroline, and Ally. I would love to see a spin-off book for Dennis. He is an intriguing man with a an interesting back story. And Beck's sister, Caroline, also deserves her own HEA after what she has been through.

I loved the extended epilogues. This book has surprising twists, turns, and connections. It flowed really well and was exciting, suspenseful, sexy, emotional, and heartfelt.  I really enjoyed this trilogy, even though I was not so sure during the first book since it did push some boundaries and had some dark elements. The unique plot, the in-depth characters, the unpredictability,  and even the cliffhangers kept me coming back for more. And she brought it all home in this last installment.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

In the final piece of Sela and Beckett’s story, there is a lot on the line for each of them. Sela’s quest for revenge has left her between a rock and a hard place, and her actions may have dire consequences. Beck also stands to lose a lot if things go wrong: his business, his family, Sela. While some of these events have been building since the beginning, other events come into play that are as a result of their carefully laid plans. As so much of this plot is built from the previous two books, this will be a fairly short review to keep it as spoiler free as possible.

Beck is such a sweet man, and his whole focus has become keeping Sela safe while trying to give her the support and help she needs to feel like she gets her revenge. But he also has his own agenda in her plans and begins to make his own plans as well.

There is a lot going on by the time this book begins, and as a result, there is a lot to resolve. I felt like at times there was so much drama that could have been avoided had the pair made a few different decisions. Then again, had they gone down one of those other roads, the plot would not have had the weight it did for this final book. There were so many unexpected twists in this series, and this book particularly that I was turning pages as fast as I could. I was able to read this directly after Sugar Rush, and even after time has passed I remember the rush that this book gave as the plot unfolded.

The side characters helped to push this plot along towards it’s finale, and I loved Caroline and Ally, and the increased involvement from Dennis. These characters, including Beck and Sela, definitely grew on me as the series progressed and I loved the direction each character pushed the plot.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Seduction has never been so sweet! The New York Timesbestselling author of the Cold Fury series—Alex, Garrett, Zack, and Ryker—returns with the first novel in a hot new trilogy.

Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.

The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.

Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

In the steamy and suspenseful sequel to Sugar Daddy (“A totally gripping take on romance and revenge!”—Lauren Blakely), a heartbreaking rift threatens to unravel a dangerous alliance . . . and a fragile new love.

After posing as an escort for the Sugar Bowl online dating service, Sela Halstead is looking for one thing: payback. She's closing in on the site's heartless founder, Jonathon Townsend, and she needs Beckett North, Townsend's business partner and her lover, by her side. She'd thought that their intimate nights together had forged an unbreakable bond, but after a shocking betrayal, Sela begins to doubt the brilliant bad boy. When push comes to shove, can she trust Beck to do the right thing?

Now that he understands the truth, Beck will stop at nothing to secure the reckoning Sela deserves. But between his desire for her and his disgust for JT, Beck doesn't exactly have a lot of control over his emotional state. Left with no other choice, he must summon all his discipline to maintain JT's trust and pretend that they're still friends. But how far will Beck go to prove his loyalty to Sela? He nearly lost her once. To keep her, Beck might have to kill for her.

Note: Sugar Rush ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck's story concludes in Sugar Free!
