I enjoyed spending more time with group since they are so much fun and all have such dynamic personalities. There were some fun events for couples we already care about. We also met Mac's brother, Chase, who fit right in. For the most part this couple acted maturely and communicated fairly well, despite some transient issues. But they could also push each other's buttons at times, but that was part of the fun of their exchanges. It was not overly angsty, but there was some drama and a bit of suspense in this one that made it more tense and interesting.

This was really a sweet, sexy, heartfelt read about finding love when you least expect it and living life to the fullest. But they both had some things to learn along the way about themselves and each other.
I am looking forward to Mia's and Riley's stories. They are the last two single women standing. There was a bit of a tease at the end and it sounds like a fun concept.

Kat runs the wine bar at Seduction, working daily with her best friends as they continue to build their restaurant together. She is confident, knows her wine and loves working so closely with her friends. Just like the other 4, she often works to the detriment of other aspects of her life, and outside the bar, has little social life. But her spunk and sass disappear when she is forced to fly for a wine conference, leaving her no choice but to face her fear of flying. Her friends have promised a sexcation as part of the deal: no strings vacation sex for the duration of the trip.

Ryan “Mac” MacKenzie can’t get the striking, yet scared women next to him on the plane out of his mind. She was such a contrast, with her colorful tattoos and distinct style, yet was terrified of flying.

What started as a trip fling quickly develops into continued interest as they spend the entirety of their trip together. But the rules going in were simple: they would last only as long as the conference and each return to their homes at the end of the trip. At least, those were the rules Kat thought they had.

These two were so much fun together. Kat was sure they would have nothing in common, and was certainly embarrassed by the first impression she made. I couldn’t help but love to watch them get to know each other and continue to find surprises around each corner. As they realize they have more in common than they thought, their confusion over their feelings only spurs the story. These are two people who were perfectly happy in their single-hood trying to find a balance in a relationship neither was expecting. It was fun and kept me reading for both the heartfelt nature of their path and the steamy way they connected.

I was surprised by a bit of suspense that came into play late in the story. I wasn’t looking for that angle with the story and while it didn’t detract from the story (and actually adds to Mac’s backstory), it did strike me as slightly separate from the rest of Kat & Mac’s journey.

Once again, Kristen Proby has written a fun, sexy book that was just plain entertaining to read. This group of friends is fantastic, and Mac fit in easily amidst the tight knit group of women and the men who have fallen for them.
