Book 2 in the B&S series

From the moment she first saw him running on the treadmill next to her, Spencer Marshall had fallen head over heels in love with Brandon Montgomery. After Spencer has a near-death experience she would rather forget, they do their best to move on with their lives, leaving their past behind them.

Thankful for a fresh start and eager to move on with her life, Spencer focuses on helping her best friend Ryan Kennedy plan her wedding. Everything seems to be going as planned when someone from Brandon's past reappears. Can Spencer and Brandon survive the coming days as they struggle to deal with ghosts from the past?

This book starts off right after the dramatic ending of Where I Need to Be(Yes, you do need to read that book first.). Spencer and Brandon are dealing with after math and trying to move on with their lives as a couple. They are enjoying times with their good friends we met in book one, spending time with the families, and just growing as a couple would as they spend more time together. They really are a sweet, happy couple that have gone through a crazy dangerous event together.

"What would you wish for?"
"I have everything I need already; I don't need to make a wish."

Brandon is just the perfect boyfriend. He is hot, sexy, protective, loving and it does not hurt that he is also rich and successful. Spencer is sassy, smart, loyal, and caring. Together they definitely have chemistry. They have sexy times literally all the time and all over the place. They literally cannot keep their hands off each other.

"You make me the happiest man in the world,"
"Are you just trying to get in my pants, Mr. Montgomery?"
"No, becasue I can get in your pants whenever I want, Ms. Marshall,"

It was enjoyable seeing them grow as a couple. We also see the progression of her friend's Ryan and Matt's relationship as the book moves on. They have such a supportive group of fun loving friends in Ryan, Matt, Jason, and Becca. Life seems to be going along perfectly...

"You're like the cheese to my mac or the cream to my coffee. I can't be without you..."

But sometimes things from your past can come back to haunt you. And unfortunately you never know when. Will their love be enough to keep them together? And can Brandon keep Spencer safe?

I would have liked to see a little more intense drama and angst. It has some situations and it takes you there, but then it was resolved a little to easily to get my heart pounding. But the sweetness and swoony-ness of Brandon did make my heart happy. And there is something to be said for having a couple that is well adjusted and actually communicate and trust each other.

"You're everything I've ever wanted, everything I've ever needed. "

And it is left in a good place but also with a little mystery at the end leading into book 3 Anything Like Me. I am interested in seeing what else lies ahead for Brandon and Spencer.
