If you have been following my reviews, then you’ll know I am a fanatic when it comes to the Beyond Series. It’s no secret, my love for Sector 4 and the O’Kanes. This unconventional “family” has had me hooked from the very first introduction. Without fail, I always find myself devouring their books, eating up every word as quickly as I can. NOTHING about Kit Rocha’s writing feels long and drawn out, instead I always feel as though I’ve gotten a fresh new look inside some of my favorite characters. Each book, each couple has me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment. I am not quite sure how the authors do it; personally, I don’t really care as long as they continue to create, wicked as hell, O’Kane couples.

Days later, I am still sitting here thinking about Ace, Rachel, and Cruz. When a book leaves me with that kind of an impression, I know it is an amazing book. Their love triangle made for one hell of an impact. I can’t seem to decide which scenes affected me the most. Was it Rachel with Ace and Cruz or just Ace and Cruz without Rachel; either way I look at it, both scenarios left an emotional punch. Ace, Rachel, and Cruz’s relationship is a vulnerable balance of intricate feelings and thoughts. One little shift of the “land mines” can send them tumbling down. And tumble they did. Prepare to have your heart tumble as well. Mine sat in my stomach for most of the book. I just knew Ace would struggle with his self-worth and believing he was more than the picture he painted. There were parts of Beyond Jealousy that had me heating up from pure emotional frustration, and then there were the down and dirty interactions that had me heating up for other reasons. Those parts that frustrated me seriously tore me a part. I hurt when Ace and Rachel hurt, but Cruz; now, he broke me the most. I fell apart when this powerfully dominant and in-control man lost said control. The moment his world began to tilt on its axis, I felt my eyes started to water and my heart began that familiar heart-breaking ache. “Rachel and Ace were his. If that meant razing everything in his path, it would be worth it. As long as they were alive. As long as they were safe.” In those moments, I cannot say I did not use a few choice curse words. Damn you Kit Rocha, I should have known I was not escaping one of your stories unscathed.

From the second I was introduced to Bren Donnelly, I instantly became Team Bren. I honestly could not imagine that anyone would top him in the hotness department. I stand corrected. Bren is still hotter than hell in his own right, but Cruz and Ace are downright SMOKIN’ HOT together. After seeing the chemistry and connection between these two in and out of the bedroom, I don’t think anyone will be topping them any time soon, if ever. No lie, there is just something about two insanely intense and dominant men loving each other that sends my mind and body into overdrive. In all seriousness, for me, I find it hotter than any male/female relationship you can throw at me. I could have taken an entire book with just Cruz and Ace. No need for a chick sandwiched in between them (even though I really love Rachel and the added element she gave). If this O’Kane couple doesn’t have you breaking out your battery operated boyfriend or searching out your significant other than I don’t know what will. Whether you are on the m/m train or not, you could not help but feel the powerful intensity and bond between our two heroes.

Last but certainly not least, Kit Rocha never fails to include some memorable erotic scenes. I always have at least one favorite from each book; however, I felt extremely lucky as this book gave me two. The first would be the shower scene between Ace and Cruz…enough said there. Use your imaginations, my pretties. And then there was another, yes, ANOTHER tatted chair scene. I should have known if the story focused on Ace, we would definitely be getting another steamy hot scene involving that special chair of his. Damn, what I wouldn’t give to be strapped down to that chair. Hell, maybe I should rephrase that. What I wouldn’t give to see Ace strapped down to that chair while being pleasured under Cruz’s hand. Yeah, I’d say, that scenario actually works so much better for me and Rachel as well; as I’m thinking Rachel probably wouldn’t favor another chick all up over her men.

I really don’t think there’s anything left to say other than, get to one clicking. I promise sassy as hell Rachel and her sexy men won’t disappoint. In fact, you may find yourself so engaged that you’ll lose track of time.
