Blog Tour and Giveaway: Only For Us: Cristin Harber
The third installment of the Only series. Must be read in order.
Grayson and Emma. First love. True love. And... they have a daughter. Abandonment is his curse. He left his woman, survived his team, and missed the moments most precious to a father. Until now.
I didn't know you were killing yourself with work. I didn't know you're raising our daughter. So help me God, had I known, there is no military force on earth that would've kept me from you.
Love needs to heal all, or they won't survive the collision of their separate lives. Emma must reach deep into her heart that is barely hanging on and find forgiveness. Grayson, wrecked with PTSD-filled nightmares, must prove that he's here to stay and able to rebuild his family against all odds.
I need to say I love you. But what I mean is I love you--in a way that defies definition and exists only in a world that you and I are in.
“I’ve done nothing for you to give me that trust, but I need
you to anyway.”
I’m not pressed against his chest anymore. The warmth that
encapsulated me moments ago is gone, but I feel different. Life’s shifted—I’ve
been hanging on this roller coaster for years, and now it’s as if we’re
cautiously slipping toward smooth sailing. The lump in my throat eases, and my
eyelids lift, my gaze falling on the most handsome man I’ve ever seen.
“What do you say?” He inches closer.
“I love you, Grayson.” Deep breath. “When it comes to us,
I’m all in.”
"This is hard, figuring us out."
This one starts right where Only For Her left off. And I was holding my breath waiting for the big moment we were anticipating. Grayson has returned from battle to reclaim Emma, but now he has to face his past, her family, and most importantly the daughter he did not know he left behind.
"I said I was laying claim to you, Emma, and I want the same thing for Cally. You're the only family I've ever had, and I want that back."
Emma and Grayson just have this connection that seems to transcend time and distance and you can literally feel it. It is intense and all consuming. And even though it feels right to them, there is a lot of explaining to do. Everyone seems to have an opinion about them. Some of them guarded and some unfavorable. Grayson has a lot to explain and prove to Emma and the others who he let down. Emma has a lot of people that want to protect her from anymore hurt. And Grayson has already caused so much pain that not everyone trusts him.

"Grayson, I still want the fairytale."
"Good. Because it's coming for you."
Grayson is also trying to plan for the future, so we get a bit more about how he fits in with Titan. Love getting a few Titan cameos!
Grayson has come clean about a lot, but has he made his full disclosure and shared all of his secrets? He is trying to accept the fall out from his leaving, so they can try to move on. As he begins to learn what Emma went through after he left, he feels even more guilt and pain. It is a lot to take for a man still suffering from his own nightmares.
"I didn't know you were killing yourself with work. I didn't know you're raising our daughter. So help me God, had I known, there is no military force on earth that would've kept me from you."
And Emma still has one big secret. How will Grayson handle knowing ALL she was forced to do while he was gone? Will it change how he thinks of her?
I love this novella series and I had to dive right in as soon as it hit my kindle. I get sucked right into each installment with these likable characters and intense situations. I find myself breathless in anticipation, swooning, smiling, laughing, nervous, and just hoping that they can survive all of their challenges. But these stories are over way too fast and I am left wanting to turn the page! I can't wait for the final installment Only Forever.

There is so much to love in this part of Grayson and Emma’s story. Grayson’s return has caused tension and hurt feelings for more than just Emma. Her family is feeling the same conflicting emotions about his leaving with no word and the time between his leaving and returning. But even more than hurting Emma, they also hurt because he was more or less part of the family, and his absence hurt them all.
I love watching the interactions between Grayson and Cally. The wonder he feels whenever he is with her is touching to watch, and the way she is slowly warming up to him makes me grin.
Though Emma and Grayson are still keeping some secrets from each other, they aren’t trying to deny the feelings between them. I just hate to think of how things will shake out when the secrets come to light. There will be guilt and shock, I’m sure, but what the fallout will be is keeping me on the edge of my seat.
There is more Titan involvement in Only for Us than we have seen previously, and what happens as a result of Brock and Preston’s influence will be exciting to watch for in Only Forever.

Oh my goodness. Once again, I reached the end of Only for Us wishing I could dive directly into the next piece of Grayson and Emma’s story. Only Forever is only a couple weeks away and I cannot wait to see what the reaction from that final sentence will be.

Grayson Ford and Emma Kinglsey—close since they were kids, opposites in every way. He’s the stuff high school crushes are made of, Mister Popular, and captain of every team. She’s artsy, cute, and not in his league, though fully aware of Summerland’s "I Dream of Dating Grayson Ford" support group.
I can’t say no. The girl’s had my heart since before I knew it went missing.
He hides a life of hell. His father hates him, his mother’s gone. Emma is his only savior, yet she doesn’t know her power over him. She’s the only girl he wants, the only one he could ever tell—though he won’t.
I’m stronger, bigger, more of a man than he’ll ever be, but because I ruined his life, I’ve taken his crap, his attacks, the vulgar nature of his existence.
Until she discovers Gray’s embarrassment, his humiliation. Emma fights for him, for a chance. Theirs is a Cinderella story that she believes impossible. But as the layers peel back, it’s just a guy who needs a girl in order to keep breathing.
My mind is already doodling Mrs. Grayson Ford in imaginary notebooks. He has no clue where my head is at… But, given that I didn’t see what just happened coming, maybe I have no clue where his head is at either.

The second installment in the Only series. Must read book one first!!
First loves never die but Grayson Ford comes close. Bleeding out in a war zone, he barters with God. Bring him back alive, and he’ll make it right with his girl.
*All I want is Emma. I need her, and I fight for her memory. A story. A smile. Anything. But it’s all blank.*
Emma is not his girl anymore. Time has skipped by and life’s been hard. She strips to pay the bills, waitresses to fill the hours between classes and her third job. All while working to be the best mama she can be to the little girl who will never know her daddy. Even though Grayson abandoned her, she mourned his death. Until he calls, and everything she knew was wrong.
*It’s him. The him that ruined my life. That made my life. That confused my mind to the point that I can’t figure out if I’ve been destroyed or set free. The him that… is… dead.*
He’s back with one objective—Emma Kingsley—and she never sees it coming.
