Billionaire playboy? Check.
Ruthless businessman? Check.
Absolutely sinful? Check.

Malcolm Saint was an assignment. A story. A beautiful, difficult man I was supposed to uncover for a racy exposé.

I intended to reveal himhis secrets, his lifestyle—not let him reveal me. But my head was overtaken by my heart and suddenly nothing could stop me from falling. I fell for him, and I fell hard.

Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I've become a hopeless Sinner.

Now that the assignment is over, Saint wants something from me--something unexpected--and I want this wicked playboy's heart. But how can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I’m worthy of becoming his plus one?

Rachel is just hoping for a chance to explain and make things right with Saint. She broke his trust and has no idea if she will ever get him to understand.  She is regretful, but hopeful. But when he finally summons her to his office, it is for another reason.

Saint is powerful, ambitious, intelligent and does what he wants, when he wants. He has his own agenda and Rachel is not sure what to think about it. But as their lives begin to intercept again, soon the magnetic pull is impossible to resist. He is angry and hurt. She's guilt ridden and lonely. They are a mess apart, but precarious together. They have issues with broken trust, fears, communication, and hurt feelings. There are also adversaries that are against them and their break up was a very public and created  a backlash.

Through stages of healing and rediscovery, we get to see the real Malcolm and real Rachel coming to terms with their past, heartache and the void they were left in. This is two people exposing their sins, figuring out what they want, and deciding if they can truly move forward. It is about a woman trying to make her career on her own. She is stubborn and fiercely independent, but also loving and protective.  And also about a man who thrives on control and wants to take care of her and make her dreams come true. We see the more vulnerable side of Saint in this one, but his alpha tendencies and strength still shine through. He is generous, loving, protective, and possessive. He is used to being used for what he can do for others, so it was easy for him to believe the worst in their previous situation. Rachel has to prove to him that she truly wants the real man behind the rich, powerful image.

I totally adored Saint in this one. I love his softer side, his humor, his strength, and determination. He was a total swoon-worthy hero. And I admired Rachel's tenacity and persistence both in her relationship with Saint and also wanting to succeed on her own. They have such intense chemistry and a deep connection. They are so passionate and hot together, but at the same time can be so tender and understanding of the other's needs.

They are focused on forgiveness, rebuilding trust, faith, hope and safety. They deal with fears, insecurities, and outside influences. But this truly is the getting-to-the-good-stuff with Saint and Rachel. It is captivating,  steamy, romantic, heartfelt, and funny. I was sucked right in and read it all at once. I love their strong willed and nosy friends Gina, Wynn, Tahoe, Callan, Emmett, and Valentine and her sweet mom. They added more depth and humor to their world.

Even though I was totally satisfied with this story, I will still pick up the novella Ms. Manwhore because I have become attached to these characters.

Rachel Livingston swallowed her pride, published what was essentially a love letter to Malcolm Saint, and dove into work to put her breakup with Malcolm Saint out of her mind. Social media and the opinion of the general public was split as to whether they supported the tell-all letter or were happy to see Rachel fall out of favor with the city’s favorite millionaire bachelor playboy. When she is called to Malcolm's office, she discovers the reason is something she would have never expected.

I loved Rachel’s independent spirit. She knew her feelings for Malcolm, but also knew that she needed to have an identity beyond his radius and fought him for that one piece even though his solution would have been the easy way out.
I think I loved Malcolm more in this than in the original. He is easier to be around, less harsh, less about his ego. He still knows what he wants and isn't willing to give up, but he has also learned some lessons about relationships from the time apart.

Told entirely from Rachel’s point of view again, I missed having the counter voice that certain scenes from Malcolm’s perspective would have given. But Rachel has a clear voice, and like the journalist she is, tells the story concisely and with emotion fitting the scenes.

This felt like a fairly smooth story, compared to Manwhore. There was a lot of ground to travel between these two. Trust to build, mistakes to account for. When the future of Edge, the magazine for which Rachel writes, is once again in question, Malcolm is there with a solution if only Rachel wants it.

I feel like things are not over for Rachel and Malcolm. There is a definite conclusion to this story, but I feel like enough has not been settled that waiting for Ms. Manwhore will be worth the time. I like where they ended in this book, but await that feeling of confidence in their place that will come at the end of their saga.

Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?

This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.

Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.

Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.

But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him…or if he’s uncovering me.

What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?
