The one guy she can’t have is the one she can’t forget.

Liam Quinn is one of the biggest movie stars in the world…and the only man Elissa Holt has ever truly loved.

After being out of her life for six years, he and his gorgeous fiancé are set to star in the new Broadway show Elissa is stage managing. The only trouble is, when late night rehearsals bring Elissa and Liam together, the line between what is and what could have been gets blurred. Now one moment of weakness is about to create a scandal that will echo around the world.

Elissa knows that falling for Liam again would be a tragedy in the making, but as any good romantic knows, love doesn’t always follow the script.

Elissa Holt is about to come face to face with the one that got away, Liam Quinn. Six years ago they shared an intense connection and developed feelings despite her being cautious with her heart. He was romantic and believed in fate. But every time they seemed about to make some progress, they would have a set back. And then due to circumstances they were separated and she was left broken-hearted.

Liam went on to Hollywood to become a huge mega-star while she remained in New York as a stage manager. Now they are working on Broadway together along with his perky, pretty fiancee.

Sexual tension and unresolved feelings sizzle between them. They are still drawn to each other. And when Liam needs her help, that only brings them in closer proximity adding to the tension.

He lives in a fish bowl with all of his actions watched. His fiancee, Angel is sweet and supportive. Elissa does not want to cause anyone pain, but her heart still hurts from her own loss. Liam is still feeling strongly for her a well. But his life is full of complications and secrets. He is part of Hollywood's hottest couple. Not to mention the crew fraternizing with the stars is not looked highly upon.

This story highlights the themes of soul mates, fate, and timing. Choices and events changed the course of their lives, but their connection was hard to break despite time and distance. It was passionate, sweet, romantic, humorous, angsty, and emotional. There were frustrating happenings, surprises and twists. I was totally invested in how their story would play out.

I loved Liam. He made some hard choices, but I adored his charismatic personality and how deep he felt everything. Elissa was tough and determined. She had a good heart and hated feeling guilty for her feelings. They had such strong chemistry together and you could feel that soul deep connection.
The side characters of her best friend, Josh and his fiancee, Angel added more fun, drama, and depth. I loved their personalities and the fact that the author did not make Angel a hateful character. There were fun cameos from Ethan and Cassie too (Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet)

This story pulled me right in. It was told in Elissa's point of view past and present. But Liam was well developed and downright swoony. This can be read as a stand alone but the whole series has been engaging and well written with strong characters, layered plots, and interesting dynamics. Leisa Rayven brings you right into the story with characters that are flawed, likable, and feel real. She messes with your head and your heart, but has you feeling it all along the way.

Liam Quinn and Elissa Holt had a whirlwind romance. The kind that fairytales are made of. But Liam broke her heart and six years later, Elissa still hasn’t gotten over it -- the heartbreak or her love -- only now she knows she can’t have anything with Liam. He’s engaged. And a Hollywood heartthrob with screaming fans everywhere. Now she has to figure out how to work with Liam and not let her heart break yet again. Late night work and unresolved feelings make staying unemotional a challenge for both of them.

These two have a chemistry that is stronger than the time they have been apart. The spark between them is evident in the flashback scenes that happen early in the book, but also in their reintroduction in the present. That they are able to fight the pull that draws them together was surprising given just how strong the emotions between them. But it is also a testament to how seriously they both take their careers and their choices; they have to work closely together and don’t want to make things any more strained than they already are.

The side characters added a fun mix to this story. Elissa’s best friend, Josh, and Liam’s finace, Angel, added hilarity and drama to an otherwise dramatic story. I loved both side characters, even Angel, which made it difficult at times to root for Liam and Elissa, but the way the triangle worked out was perfection all around. I often have a hard time when one character is in a serious relationship when things heat up between the main characters and it’s certainly easier when I can hate the third wheel. But in this case, I loved Angel. She is sweet, friendly, and open.

This turned out to be far less angst filled than I was expecting, and I found myself enjoying it more than I did the first two books in the series. This was a great mix of drama, tension, and plot twists as Liam and Elissa figure out how to work together and where their true feelings lie. I loved the turns this plot took, in some cases far beyond what I had expected.

Our 4.5 to 5 star reviews

When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan's romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they're forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they'll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks.

How do you fix a love that’s been broken beyond repair?

For years, Cassie Taylor tried to forget about Ethan Holt. He was the one great love of her life, and when he failed to return her love, a part of her died forever. Or so she thought. Now she and Ethan are sharing a Broadway stage, and he’s determined to win her back. Claiming to be a changed man, he’s finally able to say all the things she needed to hear years ago, but can she believe him? What makes this time different from all his other broken promises?

Ethan knows he can’t change their tumultuous past, but if he’s going to have any chance of being with the woman he loves, he’ll need to convince Cassie that her future belongs with him.

Don’t miss this stunning conclusion to the unforgettable love story that captivated over two million fans online.

Writing has always been a passion for Leisa, and even though she originally intended to be an actress, it wasn’t long into her time at drama school that she began writing plays.

Those plays were bad. Very bad. Well, her friends thought they were good, but that’s because they were always cast in them and any opportunity to be on stage was met with an obnoxious amount of enthusiasm.

Since then, she’s honed her craft, and several of her plays have been produced and toured throughout Australia.

These days, playwriting has given way to fiction writing, and Leisa’s debut novel, BAD ROMEO, will be available in a worldwide release through Macmillan Publishing in December 2014.

Leisa lives in Australia with her husband, two little boys, three cats, and a kangaroo named Howard.

(Howard may or may not be her imaginary marsupial friend. Everyone should have one.)
