Throw back a shot of pure pleasure.

Vault of Sin, Book 1

Leo Petrova is between a rock and the hard place in his pants. Shot of Sin, the night club he owns with his two best friends, is short one bartender downstairs. The only available replacement is the upstairs bar manager—the one woman Leo knows he can’t take downstairs, can’t have, can’t touch. The one time he gave in to temptation convinced Leo that Shay’s no match for his sexual demands.

Only a select few know Shot of Sin’s guilty secret, that beneath the packed dance floor lies a very private sex club—the Vault. The place Leo can let his sexual proclivities run wild.

Shay Porter is curious as to why her boss, the king of mixed messages, seems almost desperate to keep her from discovering what’s on the other side of the guarded door at the back of the club.

Sliding out of her comfort zone and into Leo’s arms risks everything. Their friendship, the Vault, and most of all, their hearts.

Warning: This sex club does not carry the government’s stamp of approval. Contains devilish debauchery, delightful deviance, and dancing on the edge of the darkest of sexual desires.

Leo Petrova and his two friends TJ and Brute own three thriving businesses...Shot of Sin bar,  Taste of Sin restaurant, and exclusive VIP sex club  Vault of Sin. Leo enjoys the banter and chemistry he shares with their upstairs bar manager Shay Porter but he is afraid she can't handle the truth about his preferences and what really goes on below in the private club. He is confidant, capable, sexy, and bossy, but his need for acceptance and fear of judgment make him vulnerable.

Shay is short-tempered, sassy, sarcastic, and competent. She has a crush on Leo and loves to push his buttons. He confuses her with his erratic behavior and push and pull. They are friends and are attracted to each other, but she really does not understand why he tries to keep her at arm's length. At least until  she is brought down to work in Vault of Sin
against his better judgment and his two worlds collide. It is a whole new world for the less experienced Shay and Leo is not sure if she will be able to handle it.

His sexual appetite was raw, demanding, and not suitable for someone with a narrow scope on pleasure.

Brute, TJ, and Leo have all been burned before when women could not handle their lifestyle. So they are not only protective of the club, but also of each other. But they are all also friends with Shay and care about her as well. Leo and Shay have an undeniable chemistry and attraction, but have different needs and expectations of a relationship.

Shay was the brilliant mix of everything he desired. He just needed to figure out a way to remove the petrified look in her eyes every time they discussed Vault of Sin and replace it with something that didn't resemble a brick wall.

They will have to trust, be open, and figure out if they can meet each other's needs. But both are unsure, vulnerable, and doubt their own self worth at times. They have a fear of rejection and jealousy also often rears its ugly head. This is a whole new experience to try to navigate through and one  that will leave Shay either with all or nothing.

"You wanted to jump in the deep end, Shay. Don't forget how to swim now that you're here."

I really liked the characters. It was told in both points of view allowing us to understand what was going on even when they were afraid to share with the other one. Leo was magnetic, funny, strong, and possessive, but had this soft, needy side too. Shay was so strong-willed and quick to react, but also very vulnerable. Brute was all bark and no bite. He put on this big, bad grumpy persona, but underneath he was just as needy as the rest of them. And TJ was the sweet, thoughtful, caring one, but was also somewhat broken. I really enjoyed this story. I am not always interested in books about sex clubs but this one was different. It was not a BDSM club. It was more of a place to explore sexuality in a safe environment while fulfilling their needs with people with similar needs or interests. It was all consensual, safe, and respectful. I really liked the bond and trust between the three friends. I am looking forward to Brute and TJ's books. Their stories and past were teased just a bit and I am interested in knowing more. This was a humorous, sexy, engaging start to this new Vault of Sin series.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
