Over my dead body.

That's what I told Gracie when she informed me of her plan to pick some random guy she met online to get rid of her pesky virginity.

If anyone is touching her, it's going to be me.

I shouldn't even be considering it, but I can't get it out of my head: her, under me, begging me.

Arrogant. Cocky. Prick.

Those are the words I’d use to describe my older brother’s dangerously handsome best friend.

When he learned of my plan to kick off my white cotton briefs, ditching my good girl persona once and for all by losing my virginity to the first eligible bachelor I could find, he flipped out. Said over his dead body.

He says if anyone’s going to do it, it’s going to be him.

I hate that I’m even considering his offer.

But I am … I sooo am.

Ever since he suggested it, all I can think about is his cocky smile on those full lips as he’s driving in to me.

But if we cross that line … will I ever be able to go back?

MONSTER PRICK, a sexy romantic comedy, is a spin off novella from SCREWED, but can be read as a standalone, as it features a new couple.

“What if I could help you?”

I have no idea what the hell I was thinking. The words just leaped out of my mouth. Listening to Gracie talk about kicking off her granny panties and popping her cherry with some random Internet dick...I guess it drove me temporarily insane.

But there's no taking back the idea now. Gracie sucks in her breath, blinking wide-eyed. “What do you mean?” she asks.

What do I mean? Here I am, sitting next to the world's most beautiful girl—drowning in her eyes, her scent, the gentle puff of her breath on my mouth that begs me to close the distance. I know what I want, but I also know what will happen if I take it. My best friend will rip off my balls and feed them to me. And I'll probably deserve every second.

But sweet Jesus, I'm pretty sure Gracie wants this, too, and that's enough to blow my better judgment to pieces. All I care about right now is making her feel better. In as many ways as possible. And if her slightly quickened breathing, blown pupils, and flushed cheeks are anything to go by...

As an experiment, I dart out the tip of my tongue to wet my lips. Her darkened eyes drop like a magnet yanked them. Yeah, bingo. Having a little black book as thick as the dictionary has its advantages. I know damn well how to tell when a woman wants me.
Gracie Oliver has a new job and a new outlook on life. Now she just needs a man to take care of her pesky intact v-card issue. Her brother Hayden does not want to hear about his sister seeking out men to date or have sex with. Neither does his best friend, Hudson Stone. Or does he?

Gracie has had a crush on Hudson since they were kids. And she has no hope that he ever felt the same way. But when he offers to help with her lack of sex issue and teach her all she needs to know in three easy lessons, it makes her wonder. Definitely not anything she expected and it has the potential to get complicated. And what happens to them after their time is up?

This was a short, sweet, sexy novella. It moved fast and was engaging, but  I was a bit disappointed in the rushed ending.  I liked getting dual points of view and I really liked them together. Their connection and chemistry was obvious There was the whole forbidden element since she is the little sister of his overprotective best friend and business partner so it had the potential to get messy. And their hidden feelings added confusion. There was not a lot of drama and angst. It was not as snarky, unfiltered, and funny as Screwed. But I think it was because Hudson's personality was more low key than Hayden's, but still had some humor and was sweet.  I was glad she told Hudson and Gracie's story and  did enjoy getting more with Hayden and Emery.

Gracie Oliver has crushed on her brother’s best friend for as long as she can remember. But Hudson Stone would never look at her like that. Or would he?

When he hears Gracie’s plan to use online dating to lose her virginity, Hudson doesn’t like the idea of a stranger pawing over her. But he shouldn’t consider anything physical with his best friend’s sister, should he?

This was a short story that explored the relationship between Gracie and Hudson, who are both introduced in Screwed. They are both harboring secret feelings for the other, but decide they can keep things physical only in order to shed Gracie of her virginity. I couldn’t help turning pages wondering when Hayden would discover their arrangement, or if they would be able to keep emotions out of their meetings.

I really enjoyed this story, even knowing it was a novella, right up until the very end. The transition between the events of the last chapter and the epilogue happened so quickly I was taken off guard by the arrival of the epilogue. I would have loved one or two more scenes (I have some specific ones in mind) to bridge those last two parts. Without the pieces I felt were critically missing, I would have easily rated this novella a 4, but I was so disappointed to get to the end with those scenes only describe in passing.

This was a cute friends to lovers situation. The story itself has very little drama, and made for easy, quick reading. It can stand alone, though reading Screwed first introduces these two in the background of Hayden and Emery’s story.

I have one rule: Don’t shit where you eat.

Several of the women in the condo complex I own would love some one-on-one playtime, and why wouldn’t they? I’m young, fit, attractive, and loaded. Not to mention I’m packing a sizable bulge below the belt. It’s a combination that drops panties on a regular basis.

Yay, me, right?

But my cock, troublemaker that he is, has been confined to my trousers by my business partner. A concession I agreed to, and one that’s never been hard to enforce until Emery moves in across the hall. She’s smart, young, determined, and sexy as hell. I want a taste. I won’t stop until I’m buried deep inside the succulent new-in-town brunette.

After being warned about my past, she does her best to steer clear, but I’m about to show her that underneath it all, I’m a guy with a heart of gold and a cock of steel.

My name is Hayden Oliver, and this is my story.
