Four beautiful days. Three steamy nights. One breathtaking love.

Levi Michelson. He wanted four dates. Four opportunities to prove I could trust him. Four chances to change my mind about him.

I agreed.

Probably not my smartest decision. He was everything I knew to avoid—gorgeous, charming, sexy as hell—but I couldn’t help myself. When he touched me the whole world disappeared. I should’ve known I could lose myself to him, that he could be the one man to destroy me.

I guess it’s true what they say—some things are too good to be true. And Levi Michaelson might just be one of them.

This is a book to just jump right into and experience, and not read any spoilers. I seriously felt EVERYTHING! It was easy to get caught up in all of  the little details and organically feel the story as it is told.

Evie is a unique and amazing artist. I appreciated her spunk, wit, and tenacity. She is perceptive, kind, passionate, and sweet. She enriches everyone's lives she touches. But she has some trust issues and challenges that make her insecure about men.

Levi literally sweeps her off her feet or really keeps her from falling. He is charming, sexy, protective, and so very persistent. He is mesmerized by Evie and makes no secret of it. He works hard to convince her to give him a chance...four chances in fact...four dates to make her believe in his sincerity. He's got his own issues and secrets and is an enigma in some ways. But I absolutely adored Levi's enthusiasm and the creative ways to try to leave an impression.

He pushes her boundaries, breaks down her resistance, accepts and empowers her. She brings him back to life, and both gives him a sense of contentment and also invigorates him. They have a fun, flirty rapport, magnetic chemistry, and an addictive need. It is an awakening for both of them that involves all of their senses, bodies, and hearts. It is told in both of their points of view so we feel all that they are along the way.

But Evie is just waiting to find out that Levi is just too good to be true. And Levi's secret might be the one thing that she cannot handle. This is a story about taking risks, giving chances, maintaining trust, and finding forgiveness. My heart hurt for Levi and the situations he needed to deal with. Evie makes him want to be a better man and one that truly deserves her. But he is plagued by guilt and fear that he will hurt her and ruin his chances. And I felt  for Evie too. She has a lot to come to terms with and it hard for her to really trust. But I loved them together and I totally fell for Levi. So I was rooting for them and flipping pages to see how it would all end up. But at the same time I knew I would be sad to see it end.

This story captivated me with unique, real characters that had amazing chemistry, an interesting plot, and some twists. I felt everything with the vivid descriptions and imagery. The side characters even made an impact whether it be really good like her room mate Cherelyn and some of the precocious kids in her art class, or the antagonist who I truly wanted to throttle. This story made me smile, laugh, hurt, and tear up a little. It actually makes you look at the world a bit differently. I loved every bit of it, and these characters easily buried into my heart. This is M. Leighton at her best--funny, heartfelt, sexy, and emotional all at the same time.

This is one of those books that you just have to read without knowing too much about the characters. The story leaps out of the pages, with vivid descriptions, hot chemistry, and reasons for both to put on the brakes.

Evie is a talented artist, painting images that exude color and imagery. She is kindhearted, giving, and honest, though she has some trust issues that keep her pretty isolated. Putting herself out there in the form of her very first art show is a big step that leaves her vulnerable yet hopeful.

Levi is at once protective of and intrigued by Evie. He goes to great lengths to move her out of her comfort zone while always making sure she is safe. His ability to make her feel safe was, even from their first meeting, something that I loved about him.

The chemistry between these two was perfect. Their story is not always an easy one, with challenges on both sides, but the connection between them is always present. Levi’s protective nature is sweet and hot, especially when it conflicts with what Evie wants from him. The balance they have to learn is one that speaks to honesty and real life relationships while reflecting them perfectly.

The side characters added to the emotion, from Evie’s roommate to her painting students, most of the side characters added a positive energy and some humor and cuteness as well.
I wasn’t even halfway through this book and I already knew it would be going on my list of favorites. I couldn’t put it down and carried it with me nearly everywhere while I waited for them to work their problems out.
