William Tate Morrison – The man who came into my life and turned my entire world—and me—on its ass.

Logan Mitchell has always been a man with a plan.
One for work. One for his relationship. And one for his life. Which is exactly the way he liked it—until recently.
Now with words like marriage and weddings floating around his head, Logan’s plans have suddenly changed course, and where they want him to go has him feeling somewhat distracted.

Tate Morrison knows Logan better than anybody else—or so he thinks. So when his lawyer is finding it hard to sleep at night, he chalks it up to the craziness that has recently descended on their lives.
Never in a million years would he guess what’s really on Logan’s mind.

Tate is the fifth book in the Temptation Series, and the next chapter in the lives of the two men we have all come to know and love.

These guys. This story. My heart. Oh my...

Distractions. Fear. Anxiety. Heartbreak. Love. Passion. Progression. Humor. Joy. Friendship. Family...it's all in here...

While the last book Tease felt more like more of a catch up and a slice of life snapshot of Logan and Tate, this one was more intense and dramatic. There are some serious emotional situations and some surprises.

This installment shakes up their lives with new ideas, feelings, and progression while also bringing back issues from the past. But at the heart of it are two men who have fought challenges to be together for four years and they are still trying to overcome some. Logan is a bit distracted and thinking over some things. Tate is dealing with some unresolved issues from his past. They have busy lives, and are considering making some changes. Basically there is plenty going on with them to deal with.

I was really emotionally invested in this book. My heart hurt at times. I shed a few tears. I got frustrated, sad, and angry. I might have yelled at my kindle.  But I also smiled, laughed, swooned, and got hot and bothered. This is Logan and Tate--the core of them--the way they still can push each other's boundaries, but also want to be a safety net. Their connection, chemistry, and passion is so strong. Their feelings and devotion are obvious. But they still have some baggage, issues to deal with, and fears to confront. They are still growing as individuals and a couple and their outlooks and perceptions are at times changing, but sometimes it is hard to keep up. It is not all sunshine and rainbows, it is real, raw, and full of powerful emotions.

I am a bit fascinated by the side story and antagonism between Robbie and Priest, and I hope to see more of that in the future. I enjoy getting more with their family and their friends, and cameos from characters from other series always are a nice surprise. I love getting both of their points of view and really getting to know what they are each feeling and thinking. I honestly adore Tate and Logan equally. Their strong personalities shine. They are charismatic, loving, and likable even with their individual quirks. I love them together and can't wait for more with them.

This is humorous, sexy, passionate, emotional, heartfelt, and intense. I was enthralled throughout. One small thing that I got a bit distracted by in the last book were the frequent sex scenes, and although this one had enough, they really varied from vulnerable, intimate lovemaking to hot intense encounters and claimings. They fit well with what was going on with the actual story at the time so became more of an extension of it. And of course they are still naughty, hot, intense, dirty-talking guys who love power plays and tussles for dominance.

We thought they knew everything about each other and themselves. But they're still learning, sharing, opening up, and coming to terms with things. And they can still surprise each other and themselves. I love that even after all this time their mindsets are still shifting and they continue to grow. I felt like this installment flowed well, it kept me entertained and invested, and I felt like I had been on an emotional roller coaster by the end. But I loved it! I cannot wait for the last installment and to see what happens next.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
