It is hard to say much about this story without giving spoilers away...so it will be a short one...
I adored both Ollie and Reid. They have just the right amount of awkwardness, charm, and sex appeal. They both have fears, insecurities, and self worth issues. Reid especially is trying to figure out his place during a confusing time and Ollie unexpectedly becomes his anchor. Their story is unique and interesting. They met and bonded in unusual circumstances. And the development of their connection, friendship, chemistry, and relationship built very naturally. The care and understanding they gave to each other was so endearing.
This is an intriguing, sweet, heartfelt, and sexy M/M novella told in Ollie's point of view. It has humor, but also plenty of feels. The guys are going through some challenges and struggles, but also finding a pocket of happiness they never expected.
But knowing this was a duet I was preparing myself for some kind of cliffhanger. But it still left me reeling and I am still thinking about it today. These characters really touched my heart. I cannot wait to read the rest of their story in Remember Me When, and see how it all turns out. Thankfully it comes out soon.
