Rory Haven and Brittany Manion knew one another as children...

...but it's been a long time since their childhood summers at Summerhaven.

The Havens weren't the children who attended exclusive Summerhaven Camp in Center Sandwich, New Hampshire. They were the children of the owners, expected to “pull their weight” and absolutely forbidden to fraternize with the paying guests. But that didn't keep Rory from having a quiet, unrequited crush on gorgeous, popular, insanely-rich, Brittany Manion for three tortuous summers.

When all-grown-up, recently-engaged Brittany books the off-season summer camp for her upcoming spring wedding, she immediately recognizes Rory as the scorching-hot boy who wouldn’t give her the time of day. Meanwhile Rory, who senses that Brittany’s nuptials are less about Mr. Right and more about Mr. Right Now, launches the fight of his life to win the heart of the girl he’s always wanted.

This is the first book in a brand new series featuring triplets! Rory, Ian, and their sister, Tierney grew up at their family run Summerhaven Camp for Children, but they were always reminded that they were the "help" and there was no fraternizing with the wealthy, elite children who spent their summers there.

Rory Haven inherited management of the camp by default and he has put his own spin on the camp, but he also has bigger dreams for himself. He is smart, handsome, mature, responsible, loving, and sometimes broody. But he takes care of those important to him, and is the man you can count on.

Brittany Manion Mathison was one of the rich kids who spent several summers there. She has everything money and privilege can buy, but has always felt alone except at camp.  She  craves love, companionship, and children of her own. She is kind, caring, and sweet, but her self worth has taken a hit. She thinks she has found "Mr. Close to Perfect" and has set a wedding date and knows just the venue she wants to pursue...

Rory and Britt both had crushes on each other when they were young, but did not have a clue how the other felt. Rory was the rule follower who always knew his place and did not step out of line. But now they are meeting again ten years later, and she is just as alluring and just as off limits to him.

Is Rory willing to do the wrong thing for the right reasons and fight for the woman he can't stop thinking about and has always had feelings for?

This is a sweet, romantic, second chance love story about finding self worth, trust, hope, and a place to belong.  Fans of Katy Regnery will fall for this new cast of characters with big hearts and so much love to give. I enjoyed the  camp setting in North Hampshire. I really liked the triplets and their close bond. There are some issues they are dealing with, and I am looking forward to Tierney and Ian's books to see how it all turns out.

I was gifted a copy.
Rory Haven and Brittany Manion met as children, though they didn’t interact. Rory was one of the camp owner’s children, expected to work at the camp but not interact with the campers. He noticed Brittany, and harbored a crush on her, but followed his mother’s strict rules about fraternization. Now that they have met again as adults, he is just as intrigued by her, but she is just as off limits as she was so many years before.

Rory is a steady hero. Of his siblings, he is the one who took over operations when his parents no longer could. He is a rule follower, and his word means a lot to him.

Brittany may have been one of the rich campers as a child and isn’t hurting for money now, but she wants someone who sees her for more than her last name. She thinks she has found that in her fiance, though as their wedding date approaches, she begins to wonder.

I was a little hesitant at the beginning, simply because of the situation. I liked both characters, but didn’t want to hope for their relationship while Brittany was engaged. I hurt for her when the truth came out, but I wasn’t really surprised.

This was a sweet, second chance story with a lot of lessons learned. I loved what each character learned about themselves and the other over the course of the story. As the beginning of a new series, this was a great introduction to the Haven triplets. Rory’s siblings are each very individual personalities, but when they are together their bond is evident. There is a lot going on for Ian, particularly, and his troubles are quite serious. I can’t help but root for him and wait to learn more about his situation and his future. Tierney is the quietest of the three, but she intrigues me.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Irish-American triplets, Tierney, Rory and Ian Haven (trí ciarde in their mother's native Gaelic) grow up as "children of the help" at Summerhaven, an ultra-exclusive camp for rich, city kids in New Hampshire.

Years later, distinct personalities, an unusual upbringing and complicated family dynamics will challenge their hopes for lasting true love.

Tierney Haven and Burr O’Leary come from completely different worlds…

…but there’s a reason they say “opposites attract.”

Bookish Tierney Haven has always preferred places to people, and she especially loves the peace and quiet of Moonstone Manor, an estate museum located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where she is head docent, chief historian and live-in caretaker. The very last thing she expects to find on the doorstep at midnight is bruised and bloodied stranger, Burr O’Leary, in desperate need of her help.

Against her better judgement and at the risk of her brothers’ wrath, Tierney offers Burr sanctuary at Moonstone Manor, and nurses him back to health, surprised to discover that the dashing, enigmatic stranger loves the history and peace of Moonstone as much as she. But Burr has a dark history, and those who hurt him will stop at nothing to eliminate him...placing Tierney in grave danger until he is well enough to find them first.

Ian Haven and Halcyon Gilbert haven't seen each other since Hallie's 17th birthday...

...the same day Hallie pledged she would never, ever speak to Ian again as long as she lived.

Hallie Gilbert has had an especially awful year. When her husband of five years left town with his receptionist, Hallie’s 4-year-old daughter, Jenny, essentially stopped speaking. Add to this, Chef Hallie’s cable television show was canceled, and she had to sell her parent's Boston house to pay her husband’s exorbitant credit card bills. What Hallie needs is an uncomplicated autumn at Colby Cottage, her family’s summer home in Sandwich, NH, where she and Jenny can re-group and figure out what happens next.

But Colby Cottage, located adjacent to the Summerhaven Camp has been used (and abused) without permission as a lover’s nest and midnight party spot by campers. It's in such disrepair, it's almost unlivable. When camp owner, Rory Haven, arranges for his brother—local handyman, Ian Haven—to handle improvements for Hallie, her plans for an uncomplicated autumn suddenly get a lot more challenging.
