A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world?
Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.
While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.
When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.
But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together?
Ariel Waters life has gone from bad to worse since her divorce. Even though she has tried to rally with her friends Cindy and Belle and created their new business, The Naughty Princess Club, her life continues on a downward spiral. When she finds herself with no place to go, she ends up taking the help of a man she considers most annoying, Eric Sailor.
He is handsome, charming, rich, and used to getting everything he wants without having to work for it. But he knows right away, Ariel will make him work and he still has very little chance of winning her over. She is angry, depressed, overwhelmed, and has lost her confidence. She tries to hide her insecurities with her big, foul mouth and attitude. And she swears she is anti-man and does not believe in fairy tales...at least for herself. But Eric is intuitive and good at reading her. He knows when to push her and when to support her. He understands she is proud and needs to be independent. But he most importantly knows that she has to be able to find her self worth on her own and embrace her new life.
They definitely have strong reactions. Hate turns to want turns to friendship and then feelings. Just when things start looking up for Ariel, demons from her past start emerging and a new enemy sharpens their claws. Now that Ariel is finding her way will she be knocked down again? Or will she finally find her voice and take back her life?
This installment is entertaining as Ariel is funny, sarcastic, outspoken, and just a bit crazy. She is a bit hard to like in the beginning as she is prickly and often agitated, but it is part of her self protective mode. Eric is steadfast and sweet, but also hot and sexy. I adored him and how attentive and understanding he was.
It brings back Cindy, PJ, Belle, and Vincent from the other stories and they make a dynamic and fun group. They get into some interesting situations and each of them have such unique personalities. Even the cat is special and funny. This also ties up all of their stories with an extended epilogue. All of these have been fun modern day retellings of some of my favorite fairy tales and disney movies. It is enjoyable to see how the details are pulled into the stories, while also throwing the naughty slant to them.

Ariel has finally hit rock bottom. She never imagined her life would lead her where she finds herself: facing the loss of her business, her antique collection, and her home. She vowed to never rely on a man for what she could do herself, so when she finds herself with no one else to help but Eric Sailor, the fiercely independent Ariel fights tooth and nail for what little autonomy she can find.
Eric has long enjoyed watching Ariel react to situations with her own personal brand of fire and sass. He particularly enjoys it when she is sending her snark his way, but he can’t get her to do anything but snap at him, even when he tries to help her out.
I loved that Eric recognized Ariel’s need to feel in control and independent. His ability to read her and find just the right solution to solve her problems without doing much more beyond giving her the tools SHE needs made me fall for him fast and hard. But just because he knows what she needs and is willing to let her take what she needs doesn’t mean she will let him in any further than she ever has before. He has his work cut out for him to convince her that he isn’t out to change who she is.
Ariel’s independent streak ran her into quite a bit of hot water during Kiss the Girl. I enjoyed her spark and heat, but wished she didn’t have to rock bottom quite so hard to learn her lessons. She is a strong character, but learning the reasons she keeps everyone at arm's’ length was tough, especially in such an otherwise funny story.
This was a funny, quick read with just the right amount of humor mixed into the story. The couples from the previous Naughty Princess Club books return to add their own bits of humor to the story as well. As an entire series, this has been entertaining and a fun twist on the traditional tales. I have enjoyed finding the parallels as well as the differences between these hilarious retellings and the classics.
I received this book for free from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Meet the Naughty Princess Club: a brand new series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that introduces readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that ensue when three women start a new business to make it rain.
Once upon a time Cynthia was the perfect housewife. Between being the President of the PTA and keeping her home spotless without a hair (or her pearls) out of place, her life was a dream come true. Her husband was once her knight in shining armor, but now he’s run off with all their money…and the babysitter.
Dressed as a princess at the annual Halloween block party on Fairytale Lane, she meets two other “princesses” also facing money troubles: antique store owner Ariel and librarian Isabelle. When the women are invited to wear their costumes to a party where they’re mistaken for strippers, Cindy, Ariel, and Belle realize that a career change could be the best way to make their money problems go bippity-boppity-boo.
But can structured Cindy approach a stripper pole without sanitizing wipes? And could the blue-eyed anti-prince that has been crossing her path become Cindy’s happily ever after? At the Stroke of Midnight is a hilarious, empowering story where princesses can save themselves while slaying in stilettos.

A tale as old as time: she needs a place to stay, he's a grump with a secret and an extra room...can love find a way?
Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.
Living in her overprotective dad’s basement, shy Belle lives her life through books. Being a part of the Naughty Princess Club is the first adventure she’s ever had, plus she desperately needs the money to save one of her favorite places - the local library.
But when her new friends and new business gets her kicked out of her dad’s house, Belle is rescued by the surly Vincent “Beast” Adams who invites her to be his house guest until she gets back on her feet. Despite his attitude problem and long list of rules, Belle finds herself warming to the muscled man with a penchant for growling and starts seeing a gentle side to him that wasn’t there before.
Yet there’s a room that Beast keeps locked and Belle keeps getting hints that Beast is hiding something…can a nerdy librarian tame the beast or will their romance be over before it has a chance to blossom?
