Blog Tour: Halo: Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine
HALO
Book One of the Fallen Angel Series
An MM Rock Romance
Massive world tours. Over a hundred million albums sold. Groupies galore.
Every day is a party for Viper and the guys of TBD, the biggest rock band in the world. But it all comes to a screeching halt when the lead singer walks out of the studio one day and never comes back.
Ear-blistering vocals. Butchered lyrics. Fame chasers.
After months of lackluster auditions, Viper, the lead guitarist and resident bad boy of the group, is ready to find solace in the bottom of a bottle. Time’s running out and the pressure’s on to find a new singer, but it isn’t until an angel walks through the door that the band’s prayers are answered.
Charismatic. Talented. Magic behind the mic. Halo is everything they’ve been looking for.
With a voice to match his stunning good looks, it isn’t long before Viper’s taking notice. But there are several reasons this is a bad idea:
- Interpersonal relationships in the band are discouraged.
- Viper has already broken rule #1—big mistake.
- Halo is straight.
Too bad Viper’s body isn’t listening to his head—at least not the one on his shoulders. But you can’t fake chemistry, not onstage and certainly not off it, and Viper and Halo? They have it in spades.
As both men try to resist the fire blazing between them, and the band is forced to reinvent themselves, it’ll be a complicated rise back to the top. But from the ashes of what was, something beautiful is born. Something better. And when the world finally sees Halo stretch his wings, they’ll discover what it’s like to fall for an angel.
The uber popular rock band TBD needs a new front man since the last one walked out. But finding a replacement has proved difficult, until Halo walked in. He has the face and voice of an angel and all the charisma and talent to shine.
Viper is the jaded and outspoken lead guitarist and the harshest critic, but even he realizes just how special Halo is. Unfortunately he also has other body parts that seem to like Halo as well. Fraternization with band members is discouraged, and Halo is adamant that he is straight.
But Halo and Viper have unbelievable chemistry on the stage that keeps growing off of it. Odd feelings of jealousy, lust, and need cause lots of sexual tension, innuendo, and raw temptation. At a time where they need to be focusing on the music, Halo and Viper are distracting to each other.
I was sucked right into this rock and roll world with Halo, Viper, Killian, Slade, and Jagger. I loved getting the dual points of view. Viper and the other guys in the band are used to the limelight, pressure, and rock and roll lifestyle, but this is all new for Halo. I loved seeing the world from his rose colored glasses.
It is a sexy, intense, humorous, M/M rock and roll fantasy story. That dream we all had as kids where we joined our favorite rock band and got closer to the band members. Viper and Halo are so freakin' hot and seductive together. You can just feel all that tension, want, and pure need whenever they are in the room. And the dirty talk and songs....oh my! So hot! They have such different personalities, but I loved them both. But I also enjoyed the great camaraderie and group dynamic with the band and how they accepted and wanted to protect Halo.
I cannot wait to see how things progress both for Halo and Viper and also with the reinvention of the band. Bring on Viper and Angel...and Killian for that matter! I have to say that this cover is amazing and gorgeous is the perfect Halo. I need to see Viper's cover asap!
Fun fact: it took me a bit to remember that we already know the old lead singer for TBD, Trent, and his story is A Little Bit Like Desire by Brooke Blaine.

Ella Frank
Ella Frank is the author of the #1 Bestselling Temptation series, including Try, Take, and Trust and is the co-author of the fan-favorite erotic serial, Sex Addict. Her Exquisite series has been praised as “scorching hot!” and “enticingly sexy!”
A life-long fan of the romance genre, Ella writes contemporary and erotic fiction and lives with her husband in Portland, OR. Some of her favorite authors include Tiffany Reisz, Kresley Cole, Riley Hart, J.R.Ward, Erika Wilde, Gena Showalter, and Carly Philips.
You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her 'quiet time.' Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.
Brooke enjoys writing sassy contemporary romance, whether in the form of comedy, suspense, or erotica. The latter has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.
If you'd like to get in touch with her, she's easy to find - just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that's dominated her cell phone for ten years.
