The Bishop siblings' family is on the verge of collapse as all three find themselves embroiled in danger. Family bonds may keep them alive...but only love can give them something to live for. Read BISHOP'S KNIGHT, the first novel in this ALL NEW heart-pounding Endgame trilogy!

She needs his protection...

Thanks to years of government training, Evie Bishop knows how to get into places she doesn't belong—and she's very good at it. But years of doing black ops work burned her out so she returns home—to unexpected chaos. One of her brothers is in a coma and the other is in hiding, wanted for murder. Then a fellow operative from her past shows up shot and bleeding with news that an assassin is gunning for everyone involved with a past op. She's forced to turn to the one man she knows she can trust—the man whose heart she broke.

But it will come with a price...

When Dylan Blackwood proposed a year ago, Evie turned him down flat and walked out of his life. He's stunned when he finds her on his doorstep covered in someone else's blood, needing his help. He always knew there was more to her than met the eye—that Evie was never simply the pampered society princess she wanted people to believe she was. But he never expected this. If she needs help, he'll give it. Even if he can't forget her betrayal. Even if he isn't sure he can trust her. But his protection will come with a price—her heart. Before they can have a chance at a future, they'll have to work together to take down a faceless enemy who has Evie firmly in his crosshairs.

FIRST IN NEW TRILOGY
Author note: This book can be read as a stand-alone, complete with HEA.

Evie Bishop has returned home to a family in turmoil. One brother is fighting for his life and another is on the run. Then her friend shows up injured and spouting conspiracy theories that could also put Evie in danger. With nowhere else to turn, she is forced to ask her ex for help.

Dylan Blackwood has not seen Evie in six months since she broke his heart and left him. He might not believe he can trust her, but he cannot stand by and see her in danger. He is wealthy, smart, resourceful, protective, and is ex-military so does not back down from fights.

Now they are on a race to figure out who the real target is and why. There are multiple possible antagonists and hidden agendas. There is danger, suspense, and real threats. But their connection and chemistry are still there. They make a great team, but it is a precarious situation. The mystery and action build to a heart-stopping climax.

But beneath all the external chaos are their personal issues. Evie still has secrets about her former life that she has been gradually sharing with him, but the most important one might be the one thing that could make him walk away.

I really loved Dylan who I thought was the complete package. He could be refined and businesslike, passionate and romantic, and also edgy and tough. And Evie is a different kind of heroine. She is strong, confident, and brave, but cares deeply about those she lets in. I enjoyed the side characters of their friends, Samara, Finn, and Leo. But I am very interested in the other Bishops' stories. Her brothers, Evan and Ellis are both dealing with significant challenges in this one and I cannot wait to delve more into their stories and their points of view.
Evie Bishop was hoping for some quiet time at home after leaving her high stress, high danger job behind her. But when she returns she finds one brother in a coma and the other on the run, wanted for murder. When danger shows up on her doorstep, she is forced to turn to the only man she can trust.

Dylan Blackwood knows Evie was more than the socialite she wanted everyone to believe when they dated. But when she turned down his proposal, she shattered his heart. Now that she’s on his doorstep asking for help, he can’t forget the pain she caused even as he struggles with the need to protect her.

Dylan’s resources make him both a formidable ally and foe. He may not have the same training or authorization as Evie, but he is also trained to be tactical and lethal. He is a very rounded character, with many strengths and few weaknesses. He may not know everything that is going on, but he will do everything in his power to keep Evie safe, whether she likes his methods or not.

I loved the tension as Dylan and Evie worked together, determining how much to trust and let in the other this time around. Evie knows the whole story about why she walked away from his proposal, but Dylan is in the dark and as such was blindsided by her refusal. Evie’s secrets mean Dylan thinks she needs more protection than she really does, and causes some power struggles as he tries to make decisions without considering what she would want. His motive is always her safety.

The entire Bishop family has trouble brewing, and though this is a standalone the brothers are introduced and teased as part of Evie’s book. Though Evie and Dylan’s story is complete, there is enough teased that I am looking forward to seeing what happens for Evie’s brothers as the series continues with Bishop’s Queen and Bishop’s Endgame.

Return to the Endgame trilogy where blood is thick, but passion is thicker…

He doesn’t believe in fairy-tale endings…

They used to call Evan Bishop the golden boy. He had it all and was about to close the business deal of a lifetime, then marry the woman of his dreams. But everything goes to hell when a faceless enemy wants to destroy his family’s empire and see him dead. Except the bomb meant to kill him fails. He wakes up from a coma to find his face scarred and his brother missing and wanted for murder. Now that he’s damaged, he hides away from the world—including the woman he loves. He refuses to be a burden to her, so even though it destroys him, he sets her free.

She’s about to prove him wrong…

Isla MacDonald isn’t walking away from Evan just because he’s decided to shut her out of his life. He blames himself for the bombing that got her father killed and nearly killed him—but he’s wrong. After all attempts to see him fail, with a broken heart she tries to resume her life and take over her father’s firm. Though it’s not her dream, she wants to honor his legacy and finish the deal that will save thousands of jobs. But when someone tries to kill her—twice—she needs a bodyguard. To her surprise Evan steps up and insists on protecting her, putting on a show as the caring fiancé. But he won’t let her back into his life or into his heart. To have any chance at a future together, they’ll have to resurrect the past and stay alive long enough to expose the man determined to see them both dead.
