They are a dangerous duke, a fierce lord, and an infamous earl—dark, bold, brave men who know exactly what they want. And there is only one woman who can bring them to their knees...
He is first and foremost—at everything. A man who's made his own way in the world through ruthless cunning and sheer force of will. A strong and imposing Scot who can turn on the charm but does not suffer fools. His title: Lord Chief Justice of the High Court. His name: Cassius Gerard Ramsay. His mission: To investigate the goings-on at London's most notorious gaming hell, owned and operated by one of the most intriguing and desirable women he's ever met.
IN THIS GAME OF LOVE, THE RULES DO NOT APPLY
Cecelia Teague was an orphan facing a rather dire future—until a secret benefactor from her mother's scandalous past swept into her life. Sent to prestigious boarding school and later to university, Cecelia believed high society was at her fingertips...Then, from out of nowhere, she became the inheritor of a gambling establishment. Now Cecelia must live two lives: one as a proper lady who finds herself undeniably drawn to Lord Ramsay and the other as a savvy gaming hell owner trying to save her business from the very same man. He has no idea she is both women...and Cecelia would like to keep it that way. But what happens when consuming passion and escalating danger threaten to reveal the truth?

Cecilia Teague had a rough childhood, but eventually found a new benefactor and two wonderful friends. She is highly intelligent, sweet, caring, and optimistic. She is curvy and bespeckled and does not fit the physical image or have the title of a society lady. And her benefactor just left her a gambling hell and a mystery to solve that could be making her a target. To keep her reputation intact she will have to keep her identity hidden in her new business pursuits.
Ramsay, the Lord Chief Justice of the High Court is rough, arrogant, ruthless, cynical, and unyielding. And he is determined to take down the gambling hell and end what he thinks is their part in girls going missing. Unfortunately, the new Scarlet Lady also garnered his attention in another way and he hates being attracted to her. And he also has an unhealthy attraction to Cecilia who is friends with his brother's wife. He has been celibate for years and has no intention to marry or trust a woman again. He has self-worth issues and has been conditioned to believe he is nothing without his job title. He is pretty hard to like at the beginning of this story, and I was not sure he ever would be.
They both appreciate their freedoms. Men have always treated her like she was either lacking or too much. Women have always deceived him. And while Ramsay and Cecilia are finally starting to talk and get to know each other. He and the Scarlet Lady are at war. But he does not realize they might be fighting on the same side until she is targeted.
There is an underlying mystery, suspense, threats, and even unsolved murders. Cecilia and her friends are forced to keep secrets. It is hard to know who is friend or foe. Ramsay is a man conflicted in many ways, and he has a hard time feeling a pull towards any woman, especially when that threatens his control. And once he realizes that she is being targeted, his protective instincts begin to kick in.
I liked seeing all of the sides of Ramsay. The in-control and broody Vice Of Vicar, the burly, unrestrained beast, and the lost little vulnerable and hurt boy. He actually won me over and I liked him even when he was being stubborn, prideful, or stupid about feelings. And I enjoyed seeing Cecilia challenge and push him. She wears her heart on her sleeve and that is foreign to him. Their banter is spirited and challenging, and their chemistry is explosive. She wants to be loved for all of her quirks, flaws, and intelligence. He struggles with self-worth and is afraid he is not enough as a man. And no matter what happens with them, their goals and jobs do not seem to be able to co-exist.
This is a suspenseful, fiery, passionate, enemies-to-lovers story with mystery, danger, surprises, and twists. It builds and builds to a climax I did not see coming. This brings back her friends, The Red Rogues, Alexandra and Francesca, and Alex's husband, Redmayne. One more Rogue left and that will be Francesca's story. She already has a tragic past and not so hidden agenda. And we meet a couple of new characters I am sure we will see again.

He lives in secret service to the Crown—a man of duty, deception, and an undeniable attraction to a woman who threatens to tear his whole world apart.
They call him the Devil of Dorset. He stands alone, a man of undeniable power. Moving in and out of shadows, back alleys and ballrooms, he is unstoppable and one of the Crown’s most dangerous weapons. However, when he sets his sights on the undeniably beautiful Countess of Mont Claire, Francesca Cavendish, he doesn’t realize that he has met a match like no other.
TRUE LOVE WEARS NO DISGUISE
Francesca is a countess by day and stalks her prey—those responsible for the death of her family—by night. What she does not expect is to be thrown into the path of the devil himself, the Earl of Devlin. She has secrets of her own and he seems determined to lay them bare. Can her heart survive finding the love of her life and losing him when all is revealed?
Kerrigan has done many things to pay the bills, from law enforcement to belly dance instructor. Now she’s finally able to have the career she’d decided upon at thirteen when she announced to her very skeptical family that she was going to “grow up to be a romance novelist.” Whether she’s writing about Celtic Druids, Victorian bad boys, or brash Irish FBI Agents, Kerrigan uses her borderline-obsessive passion for history, her extensive Celtic ancestry, and her love of Shakespeare in almost every story.
She lives in a little Victorian coast town on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with her wonderful husband. When she’s not writing you can find her sailing, beach combing, kayaking, visiting wineries, breweries, and restaurants with friends, and hiking…okay…wandering aimlessly clenching bear spray in the mountains.
