He was only meant to be a hookup. Until he became my coworker.

Only I could ruin the hottest potential hookup ever. One look at the gorgeous ginger, and I was done for. I summoned every bit of courage I had, then panicked. As is my way. I managed to put it behind me until he became my new coworker. Now, every day is a reminder of my insecurities and what might have been.

Working so closely together, Henry and I become fast friends. We have so much in common, but he’s very clear that relationships are not on his mind. The attraction though, that’s undeniable. When Henry offers friends with benefits, there’s no way I’m saying no. Did I mention I’m a virgin?

All I have to do is keep a level head and my feet on the ground. We have a blast together, but before long, the line between friendship and love blurs, and I’m drawn in by his gravity.

The question remains... Is he drawn in by mine?

Gravity is a steamy, low angst, hookup turned surprise coworker, friends with benefits, first time romance featuring a Sinatra-loving old soul, a sweeter than sugar virgin, nerding to the nth degree, and rain-drenched kisses. It is book 2 in the Written in the Stars series, featuring science-loving nerds and the men who fall for them.

Julien works at Blue Moon Planetarium. He is cute, friendly, and well-liked. He longs to be in a real relationship but tends to give his heart away too easily. He becomes very shy and nervous with the idea of a hookup and has self-worth issues. He hopes that maybe giving a dating app a try might help him with his problems...but unfortunately, it did not go as planned.

Henry Kingston is a new hire at the Planetarium. And it is a shock to them both to find out that after their "hookup that did not really happen" that they are now coworkers. Henry has just got out of a bad long term relationship and still has the shattered heart and underlying issues to prove it. He is not looking for love or any kind of relationship.  He thinks hookups are all he has to give and tries to avoid any mushy gushy stuff.

So they decide they should just be coworkers and friends. But they have so many things in common from their educations to their interests. They get along well and have fun, but that attraction and the crushes they are feeling do not seem to go away.

Julien needs some practical experience. Henry could use some stress relief but needs to guard his heart. How bad could friends with benefits be?

This is a sweet, funny, heartfelt, friends-with-benefits, and double science-nerd romance. These two are just so stinkin' cute together. I loved seeing them gradually open up to each other even though some of their biggest insecurities and issues took longer to discuss. Henry is so patient, kind, and understanding with Julien. And Julien has such a big heart and tries to give Henry what he needs even when he does not want to admit that he does. Their vulnerability, acceptance, companionship, and support they show each other is just so natural and endearing. Their chemistry and connection are undeniable. But they do have some challenges, misperceptions, and miscommunication to deal with. They both have some things they have to face in order to heal and try to move on.

I love this group and I jumped right back into the setting. It brings back all of the Planetarium gang and I enjoyed spending more time with them, especially Gabe and Jeremiah. I love how protective they are of each other. I am looking forward to more with Aiden, Nate, Samuel, Easton, and Richard.

People will tell you Mia is funny in the most sarcastic of ways, fluent in inappropriate memes, loosely moral'd, a lover of words, and fueled by coffee and tacos- but not at the same time. She has some standards.
