Indulge in this collection that begins with Mr. Right Now and Captain Romance -- two romances between virgins and athletes that complete the bestselling RULES OF LOVE series.

Mr. Right Now

I’ve got a problem. After a dozen failed dates - but who’s counting - I’m done hunting for Mr. Right. I’m more than ready to cash in my V-card, and at this point I’ll gladly hand it over to Mr. Right Now. When I go out with my friends for a night on the town, I bump into the perfect candidate. A guy from my past who kissed like a dream but took off before we could say goodbye. The swoony, charming pro athlete is back in the city and he’s as ready to help me with my project as he is to win baseball games. The next morning, I’m deliciously satisfied and I know I’ve chosen wisely. But when he leaves again, I can’t stop wondering -- what if Mr. Right Now is actually Mr. Right? And how do I get him back?

Captain Romance

I don’t have luck on my side when it comes to romance. That’s why I’m laser focused on my career as a sports reporter and making a mark as a woman in this tough field.

When one of the city’s baseball stars asks me to spend a night on the town, I have to draw the line. Just friends, I say.

He’s good with that.

Very good with that.

So good that I start falling for my new friend.

Of all the swoony, charming, thoughtful men in this big city, why is the one I want thoroughly off-limits? But if I want a chance with the guy they call Captain Romance, I’m going to have to put more than my heart on the line.

This collection also includes Kiss Your Tulips, Limo Bang, and DogFishing, three stories set in the Rules of Love world.

A Valentine's day event is the scene that centers this collection as new stories of finding love unravel. Sweet novellas and shorts to make you smile and swoon with more of the characters from the Rules of Love series.

Mr. Right Now

Shane "Shakespeare" Walker is a British pro baseball player just transitioning to the SF Dragons lineup which is also sort of a homecoming for him. He is fun, charming, and has a good sense of humor. He is embracing this fresh start and is determined to keep his focus on the game and avoid any temptation or romantic entanglements.

Clementine Rose is a sweet and sassy dog trainer. She has been looking for Mr. Right but only finding Mr. Wrongs, so she has decided to change tactics. She wants to lose her V card and is now willing to find and settle for Mr. Right Now and not worry about relationship potential.

But one Valentine's day, a reconnection, some laughs, and a ton of chemistry might knock them both for a loop.

This novella is a cute, sweet, sexy, second-chance romance. These two are so adorable together and are impossible not to like. They have such snappy senses of humor and have a connection. They are both genuine and honest too. But sometimes the heart wants more than the brain is agreeing to. Priorities carry weight, but are they more important than lust, love, and potential?

It also has quite a few side characters that enrich the story. They each have a tight group of friends there to push them and tease them, or let them cry on their shoulder. I am looking forward to seeing more from them in the future.

 Captain Romance

Sullivan Fitzgerald is one of the SF Cougars starting pitchers. He is charming, outgoing, talkative, inquisitive, and intuitive. He is looking for Ms. Right with beauty and brains, and has developed a good understanding of what women want and need. And there is one woman he has his eyes set on even though she should be off-limits.

Erin Madison is a sports reporter who covers baseball in San Francisco. She is energetic, spontaneous, smart, open-minded, and honest. She loves digging into how people's minds think and also about history. She has bigger dreams, but loves what she does too.

From flirty, playful rapport to a deeper friendship, they enjoy spending time together but know that they need to stay in the friend zone so as not to have a conflict of interest. But there is an undeniable attraction, common interests, and Sullivan especially is not giving up hope that he can somehow convince her that he is worth the risk.

These two were a lot of fun. I enjoyed their adventures and heart-to-heart talks. They are just such a sweet and passionate duo. Sullivan is hot and swoony and just so thoughtful and respectful too. And she has spunk and sass and a true sense of what she wants. It also brings in some of their friends and some of the events coincide with other stories.

Kiss Your Tulips

Drew McBride is the SF Dragons catcher. He is charming, caring, optimistic, and witty.

Frankie owns her own floral shop. She is quirky, cute, smart, but is not afraid of the spicy or naughty.

One encounter starts a mutual crush situation and keeps Drew coming back. Frankie enjoys the visits but is not sure what his end game is.

These two have such funny-punny senses of humor. I loved their banter and shared interests. They are just sweet, and adorable, but have chemistry and fire too. The perfect combo and a delightful little short.

And there are a couple more short stories in this collection about
a badass babe, a comedian, and a dog,
and two hot team owners and some hot encounters.
