Can a fantasy about being shared turn into something more? Bowen's about to find out when he gets Mountain topped.

Is there a bigger gay cliché than falling in love with your straight best friend? Oh, I know; a random hookup with a dude from the gym.

I didn't think I'd ever manage to fall for anyone other than the unattainable Hawthorne, but the more time I spend with Aldis the more I… like him.

As for my straight best friend… do straight guys usually stare so much when you're wearing gray sweatpants?

I never thought the drunken admission of my deepest fantasy would lead to the three of us hooking up and Hawthorne looking at me like that. Now my best friend and my hookup-turned-more are bonding over their shared love of mountain climbing, the three of us are, ahem, exploring, and I'm hoping this is more than just a messy fling.

Bowen has been best friends, roommates, and business partners with Hawthorne for a long time. He  also has unfriend-like feelings for him, but Hawthorne is clueless and straight.  Bowen decides to have a little fling with a guy at the gym to get his mind off things. Aldis is a sexy, confident, easygoing, playful guy that has had his eye on Bowen for a while so their little tryst is a win-win.

But Hawthorne is now finding himself very intrigued by the sounds coming out of his roommate's bedroom and the hot hunk now spending time with them. His thoughts and body are acting anything but straight causing some confusion.

A little alcohol, a hot tub, a little bit of instigating have things going in a direction that Bowen never would believe except in his fantasies.

Now these three are enjoying spending time together in and out of sexy situations. Is it possible that Bowen could not only have his fantasy man but another equally wonderful bonus one?

These guys are all so likable and fun. They each bring something different to the relationship. Aldis seems to be the missing piece to make a bridge between Hawthorne and Bowen. He helps them to see what the other feels and he really helps Hawthorne open his eyes to something he had never considered before. He really just wants to make them both happy.

It’s a really sweet look at polyamory and how the relationships are dynamic and unique, but all of them are equally as important. I enjoyed seeing Hawthorne and Bowen‘s relationship change and grow, but I also really like seeing Aldis develop bonds and common interests with each of them as well.

I just loved all three of the guys and thought they were charming, loving, patient, kind, and all had their own interesting personalities and wonderful chemistry together. Despite the fact that there are shifting dynamics and new discoveries, it’s not angsty at all. The guys are actually all very mature, stable, and they all communicate to ensure that they’re all on the same page. Sometimes it’s just refreshing to just read a sweet and sexy feel-good book without a lot of drama, resistance, and angst.

The two author's styles blended perfectly together and flowed seamlessly.

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series. When she’s not writing she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
