I came to Palm Island two seasons ago, confused about my life and desperate for a change. The island drew me in, but I’m still not sure why.

For Palm Island’s first full length love story we have Bambi (yes, it makes sense in the context of the story) and Ten.
These guys are about as opposite as you can get. Bambi is quiet, shy, self-isolating, and very inexperienced. He has been on the island two years but barely experienced it except for work, hanging out with his former roommate, and crushing on Ten. He is at a crossroads in his life and trying to figure which path to choose.
Ten is outgoing, charming, comfortable in his choices, and promiscuous. He left his city life behind and has been a bartender on the island for seven years. He’s happy there and sees himself being a lifer.
When Ten offers him a room for the off-season it will change everything one way or another. New adventures, new outlook, new experiences, new friends, and new feelings. But he will still need to make a decision in the end.
This is a funny, sweet, sexy, opposites-attract, virgin and playboy, small age gap, island romance. I really liked Bambi and Ten. Their progression was really natural and they pushed each other’s boundaries enough to grow and consider alternatives, but also appreciated each other. I also enjoyed seeing different sides of their personalities as they became more comfortable.
This island is home to a whole crazy group of quirky characters with interesting personalities and challenging dynamics. There's banter and friendship, and some attitude and antagonism. The island is Like a character itself, and there is this whole idea of soul mates woven in. I am looking forward to Storm’s story next and some of the obvious match ups that were teased in this one.

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series.
