Lucas has a lot on his plate, looking out for his mother and sisters, and paying off an old loan from his wedding that didn't happen. When the sale of the century presents itself at the real estate agency he works for, he finds himself reluctantly agreeing to work with his nemesis, Andrew. However, when Andrew inadvertently makes their clients think they're a couple, Lucas can neither find a way out of the lie nor any idea of how he's supposed to live it.
The man is an antagonizing menace. How their clients actually believe they're into each other is beyond him. It's just some hand holding...until it isn't. It starts to look like more than just a commission is on the line because the longer Lucas fakes being Andrew's boyfriend, the more he finds himself wanting to know where the fake Andrew ends and the real Andrew begins.

Oh my, these two are such a mix of antagonism, obliviousness, obsession, and chaotic feelings.
Andrew Broadhouse comes off as entitled and arrogant, but he’s trying to be successful in real estate and is competitive by nature. He’s charming and charismatic, but also impulsive, emotionally distant, and does not do relationships.
His office nemesis is Lucas Everette, who is an ex-army vet, helicopter pilot, and real estate agent. He is more rough around the edges, dependable, honest, grumpy, and a bit overwhelmed because he has always taken care of everyone in his life.
These two are ultra competitive with each other and hate being in each other's presence. But when a huge opportunity comes around, they have to suck it up and work together. And Andrew‘s big mouth has them pretending to be fake boyfriends while on an extended honeymoon with their clients, while they show them multiple properties.
These two guys are quite entertaining as their dynamics start to change. From veiled insults and disdain to sneaky little touches and pushing boundaries to a double bi-awakening that neither of them saw coming. They both keep trying to live in this world of denial, but they can’t seem to stop touching and thinking about each other. Sometimes jealousy even rears its ugly head. Their banter ranges from antagonistic to fake flirty to downright dirty. But along the way, they’re learning more about each other and themselves, and strangely finding a connection that they were both lacking in their lives. They both have their insecurities and self-worth issues that they tried to keep hidden, but somehow they’re able to touch on those when they’re together. And surprisingly, they find themselves trying to build each other up rather than tear each other down.
This is a snarky, witty, spicy, and entertaining opposites-attract, enemies-to-lovers, fake boyfriends, forced proximity, only one bed, double bi-awakening story with two guys who are dazed and confused over the change in their dynamics. I enjoyed going on this trip with them.
