PAH!

 E.M. Lindsey and Cora Rose
Deaf Hearts  #2
Release Date February 10, 2026

Whoever convinced me that sleeping with the hot co-owner of PUMPT Gym was a good idea should be tied to a tree and left in the woods to rot.

Too bad I'm the only one to blame.

There’s something about Dex that captured my attention the moment I first saw him, and no matter what I do, I can’t get him out of my head.

But there’s one tiny problem.

He's hearing.
And he doesn’t sign.
Oh, and he’s also the brother of the guy my ex is in love with.

But while three years working in another country with an ocean between us should have cured my addiction, the second I see Dex again, he’s all I want. And this time, it’s worse. This time, he’s learned my language, and he uses his hands to tell me exactly what he thinks of me.

And exactly what he wants to do when he gets his hands on me.
And his lips.
And his tongue.

In spite of my own rules against dating men like him, I find myself wanting to break down all the walls I’ve built up. But will giving in to Dex make me the world’s biggest hypocrite?

Or will I be making the best decision of my life?

PAH! is the third book in the Deaf Hearts series and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. It’s a spicy, MM, enemies to lovers rom-com featuring a burnt out, Deaf corporate cog with a country-sized chip on his shoulder, a hearing, sexy-sweet, gym owning himbo who is learning to take what he wants, especially when it’s offered, bad dates, better dates, A+ dates, light stalking, and a happily ever after.

Dex is a gym owner who is hearing but now has friends and clients in the deaf community. And along with that comes Rome, who is the bitter ex of Dex's brother's new boyfriend. Rome is deaf and seems to have it out for hearing guys. He has an attitude and an intensity about him. And for some reason, he seems to be sending some of that shade Dex's way...until it turns into a few very sexy and fiery encounters and Dex having a bi-awakening. But Rome's actions ended with Dex being confused and hurt.

Three years later, they are back in each other's circle with a mixed group of hearing and non-hearing friends who can also sign. And Dex has worked hard to learn and communicate with them. Dex is such a sweet, loyal, lovable gymbro. And Rome is just tired of his life, travel, and being lonely.

They find themselves back in a whirlwind of attraction and unresolved feelings. There is miscommunication between these two about what is really going on. Rome's past has clouded how he has always thought of being in a relationship with a hearing man, and he has had up big walls. And Dex is not going to make it easy for Rome to get back in and wants to make him work for it. I loved seeing their growth individually and together during this story. They have great chemistry, but they also have big hearts and love to give if they can get over their past hurt. There is an enemies-to-lovers and hate sex vibe, but it is also rooted in past pain and regret, and there is so much mutual pining. I love good anti-hero turn vulnerable hero story.

This is a sweet and spicy, grumpy-sunshine story about chasing and running, bi-awakening, misunderstandings, and second chances. There is some emotional drama and external drama happening around them with some minor suspense elements.

I love the found family component to these books, and their family just keeps growing. It brings back the other couples and friends from the series and introduces us to three new interesting and intense characters, Archie, Milo, and Percy. The epilogue sets up an intriguing next series.

Kiss-Fist
Deaf Hearts  #1

Whoever convinced me to join the gym needs to be hung, drawn, and quartered. Or, at the very least, suffer with a pillow hot on both sides every night, because this? This is terrible.

Running? No thank you.
Lifting? Who needs biceps anyway.

Now, I will say the eye-candy is nice. Especially my new personal trainer with the tattoos and dimples. But that’s all he can ever be: eye candy.

Because he’s fit and I’m not.
He’s gorgeous and I’m, well, me.
He’s hearing…and I’m Deaf.

For some people that might not be an issue, but for me, I have rules. And I’m a stubborn man who will not break them, not even for that sexy crooked smile that almost makes me forget my own name.

But I don’t date men who can’t speak my language, and while we can say plenty with our bodies, that’s where our communication ends.

Still, the longer I spend with him, the more I’m starting to realize there may be more to this relationship than frantic, feral office hook-ups. After all, he might be the first hearing person to learn sign for me. And he’s one of the first people I’ve ever known to make me feel worthy.

So maybe, just maybe, that’s worth a little compromise.

Kiss-Fist is the first book in the Deaf Hearts series and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. It's a spicy MM enemies to lovers rom-com featuring a grumpy professor, a sunshine gym-bro, and their swoon-worthy happily ever after.

ILY
Deaf Hearts  #2

Whoever convinced me that quitting my job as an interpreter to take over my dead aunt’s farm should be covered in honey and left for the ants.

Oh wait…that was me.

I was burnt out and ready for a change, but I didn’t expect what came with it.

An orchard full of fruit I’m allergic to.

A bunch of farm equipment I don’t know how to use.

And a vindictive, vicious groundhog who has made it his life’s mission to drive me to the brink of madness.

But in my quest to find a permanent solution for Michael, I’ve also acquired something else I didn’t expect: a stalker.

I should be more concerned that the man offering to sell me TNT has followed me home, but Thorne is the most gorgeous thing I have ever laid eyes on, and we communicate well.

With our hands in ASL, yeah, but also with our lips, tongues, hips…and other parts of the body.

It’s also increasingly obvious that Thorne is much more than a stalker. With my focus on trying to stop Michael from using his little paws to dig my grave, though, it’s hard to worry about his secrets.

But skeletons never stay buried for long, and when everything comes to light, I can’t help but wonder if Thorne is the best thing that will ever happen to me, or the worst.
