Room for Just a Little Bit More
Cranberry Inn #2.5

Five years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
One year ago, a horrible rainstorm flooded a bridge in town, leaving us with an Inn full of stranded travelers. Turns out one of those travelers would give me a whole new set of dreams, ones I never thought possible. Brody Murphy spent the last year teaching me what it was like to live, and more importantly love, again.
Two days ago, he asked me to marry him, and if I’d said yes any faster, I would have interrupted the most romantic proposal ever offered. I can’t wait to marry him and spend the rest of our lives spoiling our Twinkies.
One year from now I’ll be Mrs. Kacie Murphy, assuming everything goes nice and smooth.
"I'm still waiting to wake up from the dream where I find out you aren't real, that none of this is real."
"You're awake, babe. We both are and we're gonna live out these dreams together."
This novella starts right where Room for More left off and gets us right back into their story. Kacie and Brody are now engaged and thus begins the mayhem that comes from wedding planning and combining lives.

I cannot get enough of these characters. I adore Brody and Kacie. They have come so far and are such a connected, loving, and sweet couple. I love the twinkies, Lucy and Piper, Kacie's twin daughters that Brody has claimed as his own. They never fail to put a smile on my face. And his outspoken team mate, Viper totally cracks me up. Adding more support and humor are her besties Alexa and Lauren, his more straight-laced agent, Andy, and both of their families. And I can't help it but at this point I even love Kacie's ex Zach. I enjoy all of the camraderie with their friends and families. I always just get sucked into the world surrounding Cranberry inn. And I swear I fall in love with Brody more every time.
Brody is the ultimate in sweet, hot, generous, thoughtful, swoony book boyfriends and step-in Dads. His relationship with the twinkies is the most adorable thing. My heart melts every time he is with them and some of his gestures just bring tears to my eyes. Kacie has come a long way and grown in security and confidence. She is even shaking things up a bit. They are finally able to see how wonderful their lives can be, but of course sometimes insecurities or outside influences sneak in at times causing a bit of stress.
"I still ask myself everyday what I did in a previous life to deserve you, and I'm convinced I must have saved a bus full of children and puppies from falling off a cliff onto a senior citizen home or something."
Even though we got a satisfying ending at the end of Room for More, this novella is like the icing on the cake. It gives us more of a look into the future and some more milestones. There were a few surprises, a lot of fun, and plenty of sweet, romantic, emotional moments packed into this one. I was sucked in from page one and loved every word of it.
I have enjoyed watching these characters fall in love throughout the books and becoming a family. This series is just one of those that grabs your heart, makes you laugh, swoon, and smile. And even though this novella gave these characters the truly happy ending they deserved, I am still hoping we see more with them in Viper's book. I cannot wait for more with the bad boy, over-the-top lovable man-whore, Viper. And I would even like to see Andy get a book since he has been through such a toxic relationship. He deserves a new love too. Even though this was a fairly short read, it gave me all I needed and wanted for Kacie, Brody, and the twinkies. And I closed it with a satisifed smile on my face.

I love Kacie, Brody and their Twinkies and Room for Just a Little Bit More is the perfect continuation of their story. With the challenges that come from planning a wedding, and reconnecting with a long lost family member, this story is filled with surprises galore.
While Kacie's girls, Piper and Lucy, aren't actually Brody's girls, they are his in all the ways that matter. That sweet dynamic that was built in the first two books continues here, with Brody acting as a father without a blood tie. And even their biological dad, Zach, has stepped up as he said he wanted to. Watching both men work together with Kacie to raise the girls is a great example of a well blended family.
The friends and family I came to love from Room For You and Room for More are all back to play a role in this novella. Brody and Kacie are sweet and funny all on their own (or with the influence of the Twinkies) but add in the characters who also love them and hilarity ensues. Alexa and Viper, especially, often left me giggling from their influence on the story.
This novella made by turns had me laughing out loud, choking up, and smiling often. I had felt closure at the end of Room For More, but the addition of this novella really completes the chapter of Brody and Kacie’s story I didn’t even realize needed to be told. There wasn’t a moment during the reading where I wasn’t confident that Brody and Kacie would find a solution to their challenges, and at the end I was left holding a feel-good family drama with a grin on my face.

Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew how, but something was always missing.
A father for my two girls.
But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree, playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He left me more confused than I had ever been.
What if the one thing I thought I needed was the only thing holding me back?

Three months ago, I found something I haven’t had in years.
Hope.
That hope came in the form of a sexy, carefree hockey player named Brody Murphy. He swooped in and won me over with his big heart and the way he cared for me…and my girls. When they look at him, they see the father they’ve never had.
Now, my past and present are colliding and the outcome might just be too much for me to bear. Can I make the right decision when I’ve spent my whole life making the wrong ones?
