I want to be worth the risk. I want her to finally fall for the right guy.
This book starts right after Down to You ends so it is important to read it first. Cash is back and he is hotter than ever...and sweeter too. He is still cocky, but also loving and protective too. Olivia got on my nerves many times during this book because the girl still has trust issues. And they have a lot to deal with so things of course did not go right to happily ever after...
Not only did I do exactly what I knew I shouldn't--get involved with another bad boy--but I went and picked one that actually has a dangerous past. He's not just dangerous to my heart; he's dangerous period!
"Can you trust me? Please! I know I've not given you many reasons to, but this one time, just go with your heart. I promise you, promise you, I won't let you down."
I really cannot say much without giving away some of the story. So just know there is danger, excitement, fighting, bad guys, surprises, and lots of sex. And in the midst of all the chaos, you see Cash and Olivia trying to continue to build their relationship.
"Trust in what you know about me. Because I know, if you stop listening to your fear, you know who I am. Deep down. You know me, Olivia. You know me."
Somehow when I wasn't looking, I fell I fell hard. For my soul mate. For the love of my life. For my hero.
Cash broke all the rules, broke all my rules. He's not giving me reason to run. He's giving me reason to stay. And all I have to do is muster the courage to do it, to take the chance.
And we get to meet a couple of other hunky guys in this book too. This book leads right up to Book 3 and I am looking forward to seeing where that takes us. I do not think I enjoyed this one quite as much as Down to You, but it was still an enjoyable read and I loved visiting with these characters again.
