Kylie Wolfe and guitarist Wyatt McRae have been bad for each other for the last several years, but it’s impossible for them to end their toxic push and pull. Not when their attraction is constantly fueled by lust and proximity—she’s her older brother’s Lucas’s assistant and Wyatt is his best friend and band mate.

So when Your Toxic Sequel makes a move to record a new album in Nashville, Kylie decides to make the latest break with Wyatt official by getting the hell out of town. She’ll spend a week in New Orleans. A week to immerse herself in the Mardi Gras scene. One week to not think about the last time she was in New Orleans, seven years ago with Wyatt. Seven days where she won’t have to see Wyatt every day just to fall ridiculously in love with him all over again—where, if she wants to, she can have a normal, no-strings attached fling that won’t end in heartbreak.

Too bad Wyatt ruins everything by showing up, as gorgeous and demanding and goddamn awful for her as ever.

Wyatt refuses to let Kylie give up on him. Not without reminding her why they both fell so far and hard in the first place. Not without making her savor the good memories and what could be their last chance with each other.

Note: This is a spinoff from the Devoured series.

"We hurt each other. Then we mend ourselves. And then, we do it all over again, only more violently."

The moment Kim and I were asked to feature the cover reveal for Savor You I was captivated (hook line and sinker)! There was no doubt Savor You would be an immediate one click for me. So to say, I was wicked excited to be invited to tour for Emily is an understatement. Thank you, Emily Snow, for rocking my damn socks with this dynamic duo!

I absolutely ADORED our main characters, loved them to pieces. I won't lie and say they didn't sometimes get on my nerves because they did but there was just something about the two of them that kept me entertained and engaged. I think what I loved most about them was the fact that Wyatt and Kylie are so dysfunctional yet functional all in the same sense if that makes any sense. Is that even possible? For 8 years, these two lived in a world that consisted of constant fight and flight. Wyatt and Ky couldn't live with each other, but they also couldn't stand to be without the other. Because of this, their relationship was intense and the chemistry off the charts. The push and pull mixed with the added benefit of friends with benefits definitely made for an interesting read.

"Wyatt McCrae, the man I came to New Orleans to get the hell away from. The ripped, tattooed, and dirty blonde bass guitarist for Your Toxic Sequel."

"Did you think I'd really give you up so easily, beautiful? Did you really think I'd let you go without reminding you why you fucking fell in the first place?"

Wyatt and Ky were one hell of a ride to say the least, they were all consuming, and sometimes I really just wanted to shake them and demand they finally get their crap together. I know that they were both damaged and broken, but it seemed as though they learned nothing over their 8 year run, except how to make the hurt run deeper. How in the world can two people love each other so much that they don't even realize it, or maybe they both just continue to deny the strong emotions that burn within them for each other. I guess this is where some verbal communication would have been nice. Communication was extremely lacking between them except for the physical kind that landed them between the sheets. Neither took the time to heal properly, actually I don't think healing was in either of their vocabulary's. I don't know the specifics since their past was just eluded too but the gist I got was that each time Wyatt and Ky tried to make a go at it, they just hurt each other worse than the previous time encouraging an even deeper pain and betrayal to the heart, in the end causing both of them to make one final decision that brings them to a standstill. Kylie was done, her heart couldn't take another betrayal, and she was finally ready to walk away, while Wyatt planned to do whatever it took to remind her exactly why they were meant for each other. There was no way in hell he was letting his girl go without a fight. I loved Wyatt it was nice to see him finally pull his head out of his back end, but man I wished he had woken up years ago. Then we had Kylie who seemed to stand in her own way more often than not. Dealing with their bowl full of complications sometimes felt like I was taking a joy ride on an emotional roller coaster between the thoughts and screams of walk the hell away from each other and to put their adult panties on andfight for what they wanted.

"It's not over yet. No more fucking blackbirds. You're mine. No matter what you decide or who the fuck you end up with, you always will be."

Wyatt and Ky's journey had me so immersed in Savor You that I finished this book within a couple hours. I am anxious for the next book with hopes that Emily will fill in the blanks and give us their past, and sadly this is why I wasn't able to give Savor the five star rating I wanted too. I felt like some of their story was missing, bits and pieces of their past that needed to be filled in and it was a little frustrating to say the least because at times I felt kind of lost. I was left with some unanswered questions. I thought maybe I had missed something, and went back to reread Lucas and Sienna's books, but nope I didn't miss anything. The bits and pieces were eluded too but never actually described in detail and those were major key points I really wanted to know about. They would have completed the story for me.

Thank you, Emily Snow, for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of Savor You in exchange for my honest opinion.

"Looks like I'm your toxic sequel, huh?"
"Looks like you are."

This spin off of Devoured is about Lucas' sister Kylie and his band member Wyatt...now where to begin with Kylie and Wyatt? Apparently they have been circling around each other for eight years...coming together and breaking apart. We begin in a prologue but it still kind of seems like it just begins in the middle of their story(I was wondering maybe if some of it was in Devoured and I just did not remember it at all).  It took me a bit to get up to speed, but I soon came to like Wyatt and Kylie together and wanted them to finally get it together.

Kylie is the personal assistant for her brother so has to work with Wyatt as well when she does business for their band, My Toxic Sequel. Wyatt and Kylie cannot seem to be together, but also cannot seem to stay away from each other They are toxic themselves and ruled by sexual chemistry and strong feelings.

"If we haven't fixed ourselves by now, how the hell do you think we ever can?"

Wyatt is like a love able screw-up. He seems to really want to fix things with Kylie and is working hard to do it. But he clearly has had a poor track record and continues to make mistakes with her. I loved him. He is sexy and charismatic. He is bossy without being overbearing, but still has a vulnerable side and is filled with guilt and regret.

Wyatt's eyes...they're the reason we've been on this merry-go-round so many times. They carry all of his emotions--the beautiful and hideous and heartbreaking.
Kylie is tough at times, but she is as addicted to Wyatt as he is to her. She has been devastated and broken by him and others in the past so her trust issues and insecurities are ingrained in her.

When Kylie tries to avoid seeing Wyatt at a band gathering and takes off to New Orleans, Wyatt decides to chase her and beg for another real chance. Due to various circumstances they end up on a road trip visiting past haunts and reliving memories good and bad. Their pull to each other is so intense, but yet so fragile at the  same time. But Wyatt is determined and finally wears Kylie down enough to give him a chance to prove it to her.  They are combustible together and sexual chemistry is definitely not one of their issues. It is obvious that they love each other, but it is so intense that it is almost too much for them to handle. I was just waiting on baited breath for something to ruin their new found happiness and send her running again. But was also hoping that this time they both wanted it work so much that they would be able to do it.

"...I mean, isn't that your forte? A big jealous showdown, followed by an even bigger letdown?"
"You forgot what happens between that showdown and letdown, Ky."

Eventually Kylie has to make a decision for herself whether she can  handle all of Wyatt and truly give her full trust to him. He already has her heart, but trust is something entirely different. I really loved this couple. They were funny, flirty, sexy, and passionate. But they were also broken, insecure, and scared of losing it forever. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was what caused all of their break ups in the past. We eventually got some of the back story, but not all of it. I would have loved to have seen flashbacks or something that shed more light on the eight years of pain they had been through that made such an indelible mark on Kylie.

"You're mine. No matter what you decide or who the fuck you end up with, you always will be...you'll always be mine."
I think about our bad times and our good. And I'm hopeful that this time, things will work so that we can make new ones that won't hurt so damn much. Still, I savor every memory.

I enjoyed getting a little more with Lucas and Sienna(this takes place in the same time period as Devoured). I loved her friend Heidi and band mate Cal. I think they definitely have more of a story to tell and would love to see them in future installments of this series. And even though this was not a cliffhanger ending, I still would like to see more with Kylie and Wyatt and their future as well.

Thanks to Emily Snow for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
