Married in the morning…

Professional heartbreaker Mike Worth thrived on the chase—and dancer Morgan Collins represented the ultimate prize. But there was no way he was going to throw away his single-man status…not even for an elusive redhead with sparkling eyes and mile-long legs. So how did he let one drunken Vegas night end with I do instead of hell no?

Morgan’s life revolved around her career and she had no intention of letting a man interfere—even if Mike made her question all her rules about love. At his urging, she reluctantly agreed to give their spur-of–moment marriage a chance. But once their trial-honeymoon ended, would she choose to follow the dance and leave her unforgettable husband behind?

Note About this series: The first book Try Me is about Erica and Jeremy, the second book Love Me is about Erica's brother Thomas and Brianna, the third book Play Me is about Brianna's sister Kiersten and Garrett, and this book is about Mike who is Brianna and Kiersten's brother and Garrett's best friend.  So each book is about a different couple but the couples are related in some way. But they can be read as stand alones.

"You just wait. One of these days you'll meet a girl who makes you forget everything you wanted out of life and show you how much you were missing."~Garrett

Mike was so cocky, arrogant, and emotionally closed off  in the other books that I could not wait to see him meet his match. He was a good friend and fantastic overprotective big brother, but he was the "love them and leave them" kind of guy with no intention of ever getting seriously involved or married. He made fun of his sisters and friends that got suckered into it.

He had rules and theories. Only hang out with green light woman that were safe from commitment, if they got to the danger zones of yellow light or heaven forbid critical red light situation, he was out of there! He was cocky, sarcastic, arrogant, and so sure of his convictions. His past had taught him that he did not want any part of a relationship. He was sure he was never going to change.

But then BAM! A fiery redhead, Morgan literally knocks him on his ass. She was strong, independent, sassy, and confident.  Their first encounter is heated in that he pissed her off, but led to another kind of intense heat situation. Morgan is a female version of Mike...maybe even worse. She does not want to settle down either. She loves her dancing career and does not need a man holding her back or stopping her from following her dreams. So she can actually appreciate a man who does not want entanglements.

"Why do you keep running away from me?"
"Why do you keep chasing me?"
"Damned if I fucking know.
"Fair enough...to constantly chasing women who don't want to get caught."
"To catching you--which I will do. And you'll like it."

But just one more night, some alcohol, and the Vegas scene is enough to change everything. They wake up in a seriously unanticipated state with rings on their left ring fingers. Then they have to deal with the fall out. I loved seeing Mike turn more vulnerable, question everything he ever believed,  and show some emotion. He was always so sure of himself and Morgan ripped the floor right out from underneath him. She was determined to stand her ground and was not needy or clingy in any way. And their chemistry was hot and steamy. They were two stubborn people thrust into a strange situation with crazy strong feelings and no clue what they really wanted and needed. And scared senseless.

"I don't want to walk away....which is why I should. I've always wanted to leave. To move on. But with you It's different. I'm different."
"I'm different too...That's exactly why we should stay together fro at least a couple of days. Both of us have avoided commitment for all of our lives but we both want to stay. To try.  I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but maybe that means something. Maybe we mean something, together."

As they spend more time together, will they realize that maybe being together is meant to be or will two commitment phobes turn tail and run?

It was a short, funny, intense, sexy, and sweet read. I really like this series and enjoy Diane's writing style and her characters. Even though they are novellas, you still get a good feel for these characters  and you cannot help but like them. And that fact that the characters from the other books in the series make appearances just adds to the enjoyment. But these can really all be read as stand alones so do not think you have to start from the beginning to read this one.

Thanks to Diane Alberts and Entangled Publishing for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Diane Alberts has always been a dreamer with a vivid imagination, but it wasn't until 2011 that she put her pen where her brain was, and became a published author. Since receiving her first contract offer, she has yet to stop writing. Though she lives in the mountains, she really wishes she was surrounded by a hot, sunny beach with crystal clear water. She lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with her four kids, a husband, a cat, and a Senegal parrot. In the rare moments when she's not writing, she can usually be found hunched over one knitting project or another.

She is a multi-published, bestselling author with Entangled Publishing, Swoon Romance, and Decadent Publishing. She has, as of this date, four books with Entangled Publishing, one book with Swoon Romance, and five older books with Decadent Publishing. Her February release with Entangled Publishing, ON ONE CONDITION, hit #18 on the Barnes and Noble Bestseller List, and TRY ME hit #76 on Amazon. Her Swoon Romance novella, CAPTIVATED BY YOU, hit #31 on the Barnes and Noble bestseller list. Her goal is to write so many fantastic books that even a non-romance book fan will know her name. Diane is represented by Louise Fury from the L. Perkins Agency.
