Legal Affairs is a serial romance with a whole lot of hot and a little bit of funny. It has six volumes that will be released every two weeks.
In part two of this sexy lawyer series, Matt and Mac are trying to resist...well, at least Matt is. Their chemistry is unavoidable and combustible. They have to work together closely that keeps them at a slow boil, but not they are going away on a business trip.
These two just can't keep their hands to themselves. Matt is a man obsessed who fights it it every step of the way. He is determined that if anything at all happens between them that is is JUST SEX. He is adamant about no ties, no relationship, and no promises. This man is so secretive and intriguing. He can go from sexy and sweet to asshole in seconds flat.
But Mac will take what she can get from Matt, but is she already getting in too deep? She is strong and feisty, but Matt ties her up in knots and she cannot help the fact that she has feelings. Against her better judgment she keeps getting sucked farther and farther in.
But their issues are not going to go away and once again someone has to take a stand about what is really going on and what to do about it.
This was another scorching, fun fast paced installment. It had humor, steam, jealousy, secrets and drama. I was not ready for it to end. Need part three now!
Mac and Matt continue their dance around each other in this second installment of Legal Affairs. The tension is high as Mac wants more from Matt while Matt refuses to even consider taking it to any other level. But boy are the sparks flying. And in all of this, they decide that it will be no problem to keep everything professional while on a business trip together.
It was steamy, full of tension and frustration, and so much fun to read. I'm looking forward to reading if Matt and Mac will continue to dance around each other at the office or if they will take it to another level all together.
My only frustration with this volume of Legal Affairs was less with the overall story and more with the format. Because even in a serial, there have to be parts that are necessary to set up future events but feel disjointed without the context that will come later. But the good news is there are only 2 weeks until the next volume is out! Waiting, waiting, waiting (maybe not so patiently) for part three.
