Evan is sexy, controlling, powerful, and secretive. In the beginning it was hard to get a real feel for him since he kept it all hidden. He always stayed away as requested by his mentor but also did so to protect her from his checkered past. She bottled her true personality up under a facade of polished perfection. Until it all gets too much for her and she needs an adrenaline rush. What better release than to finally have a hot affair with the man she has been intrigued by for years?

But once they open up their hidden desires, it is harder to keep it in control. Their chemistry and passion is off the charts. But the also have a lot in common in how they view the world and what excites them. It is seductive and enticing. They have power plays, but Evan is usually the winner of control and he sees the real Lina underneath the veneer wanting to get out and explore new things. And she makes him want to change as well.  Evan has secrets...dangerous ones. Angelina has to decide whether she wants to be more of the dangerous girl Lina or the safety girl Angie and figure out what life she wants to lead. And also convince Evan that she is making an informed choice. Evan is a man that once he makes a decision, he sticks to it. He is demanding and honest about what he wants. But he is not going to give anymore than she does and keeps the playing field to his advantage. I really came to like him as the story progressed. I was not quite a big a fan of Angie/Lina but eventually warmed to her more. 

There are mysteries, danger, suspense, passion, and a whole lot of steam in this one. Three powerful alpha males strong ideas and  mysterious and questionable pasts. They have their hands in many business ventures that have provided both wealth and negative attention. There were some plot twists and surprises that gradually emerged. This story was seductive as it gradually brought out the underlying hidden agendas and mysteries and just kept drawing you into Evan and Angelina's emerging connection and relationship.

I liked Angie's friends Kat and Flynn. Kat especially is sassy, spirited, tough, and obviously interested in his friend. The three men are all quite intriguing. I look forward to Tyler in Heated and Cole in Ignited. There is definitely more suspense and danger coming and we already got a little taste of Cole's potential love interest.
