Tied (Tangled#4)
Add to Goodreads
Pre-order/Buy: Amazon/B&N/iTunes
Expected October 7, 2014

In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot—if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities.

For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better.

The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.

That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of…my final test.

I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you’ve heard the whole story.

And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?

Here's a little tease of the
Indecent Proposal *TIED pre-order bonus excerpt*

"I hover over her, just close enough to caress her with my breath. “Fuck, Kate, the things I want to do to you…”

Her round, dark eyes drift over my face — filled with love and need. Docile and demanding at the same time.

“I’m yours, Drew.” She whispers. “You can do anything…everything.”

Does she understand what she’s offering? How badly I want to hear her voice, soaked with pleasure, screaming my name until it echoes off the hills around us?

Anything?

Oh, the possibilities."

It was like a fairy tale, for Christ's sake. Did you ever notice how fairy tales all start off great? The beautiful princess, the happy kingdom? Then it all turns to sh*t....For any of you out there who still think I'm an unworthy, self-absorbed douche? I have a feeling you're going to enjoy this. A lot.

Drew Evans is speaking to us again...two years later. He is the same cocky, outspoken guy we love, but he has also matured and grown because of Kate and fatherhood. I have always loved Drew Evans. Sure he is mouthy, self absorbed, strong-willed, impulsive, and bossy. But he is also sexy, passionate, and loving. He is completely devoted to Kate and their son. He is a hands-on Dad and his interactions with little James just melt my heart.  But he is still Drew and sometimes he does not always make the best decisions.
I adore Drew's hilarious, raw, unfiltered point of view and it is told in present and with flashbacks. The way he looks at and describes the world around him cracks me up. He uses foreshadowing and makes sure we pay attention to important details. He does not sugar coat anything. But he has also changed and matured since the beginning of the series.

This is a landmark event. Revolutionary. Because for most of my life, I didn't entertain the slightest possibility that I'd end up here...But Kate did the impossible. She changed all that
--she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before...but now I'm even better.

He is preparing to finally marry Kate...this is if they survive the bachelor/bachelorette parties in Vegas intact.  He catches up us on their lives, families, friends, fun times, and then it is time to hit Sin City. Heaven Help us!

Throw in a group of girls and a group of guys, a lot of alcohol, temptations, and expect some craziness. They have their best friends along (some in the group that do not always get along with Drew) who can just as well get them in trouble vs. keep them out of it. Kate and Drew both have had a tendency to make impulsive decisions in the past so throwing in all the enticing variables could mean trouble. They are putting their trust to the test, will they both come out unscathed?

The gang is all here: Matthew, Dee-Dee, Alexandra, Steven, Billy, and a few people from the office Jack and Erin are along for the ride. Jack O'Shay has some potential for his own spin off. He is another cocky, manwhore who needs taming. Drew's dealings with Kate's ex Billy and his adversarial relationship with Dee-Dee had me laughing. And  precocious niece Mackenzie who is now nine and a host of little boy cousins add some more fun. The family and friend dynamics are chaotic and funny. Sometimes they are taunting and teasing and at other times sweet.

This is another hilarious, wild, steamy, sweet read in this series that sucked me right in and kept me engaged. I think Tangled still rates number one, but this was a close second. It has a bit different vibe since they are a family and together now, so it is more about real life hassles vs. dating and fear of intimacy issues. I laughed, smiled, swooned, and definitely could relate to some of the parental and relationship situations.

I really love Drew and Kate together. They have come so far individually and as a couple. They have faced many trials and have had to make compromises and forgive some mistakes. They still have witty rapport, chemistry, camraderie, and passion. And this finally brings them to the place we have been waiting for...a wedding. But when Drew Evans and this crew are involved there are bound to be a few hiccups. But I totally enjoyed spending more time with these over the top characters and especially getting into Drew's head again. I have missed the crazy guy.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Our 5 star reviews
Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.
But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

What does Drew Evans have to say next? Find out in this forty page short story, filled with his sexy charm, unique advice and hilarious one-liners.

Marriage: the final frontier. Steven went first. He was kind of our test subject. Like those monkeys that NASA sent off into space in the fifties, all the while knowing they’d never make it back.

And now another poor rocket is ready to launch.
But this isn’t just any posh New York wedding. You’ve seen my friends, you’ve met our families, you know you're in for a treat. Everyone wants their wedding to be memorable. This one’s going to be un-frigging-forgettable.

Holy Frigging Matrimony takes place about a year after Tangled’s end and is from Drew’s POV.

There are two kinds of people in the world. The ones who look first, and the ones who leap. I’ve always been more of a looker. Cautious. A planner. That changed after I met Drew Evans. He was so persistent. So sure of himself – and of me.

But not all love stories end happily ever after. Did you think Drew and I were going to ride off into the sunset? Join the club. Now I have to make a choice, the most important of my life. Drew already made his –in fact, he tried to decide for the both of us. But you know that’s just not my style. So I came back to Greenville. Alone. Well, sort of alone....

What I've come to realize is that old habits die hard and sometimes you have to go back to where you began, before you can move ahead.

TWISTED picks up two years after Tangled’s end, and is told from Kate’s POV.

In the third unforgettable book by New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase, Matthew Fisher—the best friend of Drew Evans from Tangled and Twisted—wants to settle down, but he’ll have to overcome the mistrust of the vividly unique Dee Dee Warren. Includes a bonus short story, Holy Frigging Matrimony!

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: girl meets player, they fall in love, player changes his ways.

It’s a good story. But it’s not our story. Ours is a lot more colorful.
When I met Dee I knew right away that she was special. When she met me, she thought I was anything but special--I was exactly like every other guy who’d screwed her over and let her down. It took some time to convince her otherwise, but turns out I can make a convincing argument when sex is at stake.

You might know where this story’s headed. But the best part isn't where we ended up.
It’s how we got there.

This is a companion novel to Tangled but can be read as a stand alone even if you did not read Tangled or Twisted.

TAMED goes back in time to the Tangled days. But this time around, it’s not Drew dishing out the advice and opinions – it’s his best friend Matthew, who of course is dealing with Dee Dee.
