Paige Dawson: the mother of a murdered child and wife to a dead man.

She has nothing left to live for… until she finds her husband’s handgun hidden in their house.

Why did Ryan need a gun? What did he know about their daughter’s death?

Desperate for the truth, Paige begins to unearth her husband’s secrets.

But she has no idea who she is up against, or that her life isn’t hers to gamble – she belongs to me.

From the bestselling author of Anything for Her, Jack Jordan's My Girl is the new chilling thriller that you won't want to miss.

If you love books where the protagonist is a complete and utter HOT MESS, then you’ve found it! If you love books with suspense, then you’ve found it. If you like dark, twisted and taboo, then you’ve definitely found it.

To be on the cautious side, I’m going to repeat this is dark, twisted and taboo. If this is not your cup of tea, run the other way—fast! This book is definitely NOT for you. The light at the end of the tunnel is very dim with this one. It isn’t labeled a psychotic thriller for no reason. You may very well walk away mentally scarred for life. As soon as I finished this book, I had to post about how afflicted it left me. And I love my books dark and twisted. In my humble opinion, the darker the better—so take that as you may.

My Girl is one of the most disturbing books I’ve read. And when I say disturbing, I’m referring to the extreme psychotic nature of the villain. The antagonist is one sick f***ing ticket. Dude was beyond demented; yet, I couldn't walk away from the vile, raw, gritty horror of the plot unfolding before me. There were instances I thought my dinner was going to resurface, while others had me wanting to pour bleach in my eyes before jabbing them out with a hot poker.

The addiction I formed to Mr. Jordan’s writing held me enthralled with each word written, keeping me up till the wee hours of the morning. Actually, forget enthralled, more like mesmerized. It is a testament to the writer’s ability that he kept me devouring such depraved insanity, even when I couldn’t see past the repulsion and tears in my eyes.

I would definitely read another book by Jack Jordan. For me, he is one of those authors I would love to spend time in his mind!

P.S. If you as a reader would like to know the twist, you can message me; however, I’m not going to post about it since the twist involves the whole book from start to finish and I don’t want to ruin that for anyone.

Thank you, Jack Jordan, for the complimentary copy of My Girl.
