This begins awhile after the events at the end of book one, Forget Me Not, and needs to be read in order.

What do you do when the life you've known and been living is ripped away from you? Both Reid and Ollie know this feeling well, but for different reasons. Both are struggling. Something is missing from their lives, but only one of them can clearly see what it is. There are no easy or right answers on how to deal with something like this.

Reid's life has had another abrupt change. In theory, everything should be better now as he has regained some that he lost. But he cannot shake the sense that he is searching for a missing piece. He is frustrated and edgy, and just merely surviving in his regained reality.

Ollie is lonely, lost, and hurt, but trying to do what is best for everyone...including Reid. But Reid is just as lost and grappling to come to terms with his ever changing situation.

Can they find a way forward or at least back to where they had been for awhile?

This is a heartfelt and  emotional conclusion to this intriguing and unique love story. My heart was in it from the start since I just adore both of these guys and was anxiously awaiting the rest of their story. I am not sure which one I felt worse about since they both had so much to come to terms with and struggles to face. I enjoyed getting both of their points of view in this one and found them both to be equally likable. Ollie is so patient, kind, loving, and self sacrificing. And Reid is in a state of transition just trying to make sense of his own feelings and wants as he rediscovers his own life and relationships.

I was riveted by their painful and beautiful story, and cycled through so many emotions in the process. There were sad tears, happy tears, frustration, tension, but also some smiles, laughs, and swoons too. These guys are truly unforgettable.
