I totally girl crushed over our heroine and rooted hard for her. She made this story, for me. I seriously loved every little thing about her, especially the way she destroyed Ian’s control by just being herself, provoking him to step outside his coveted box, to see things in a different light. To want things he's never wanted before. To work harder than he's ever worked in his life. Our girl turned his world topsy turvy and it was a beautiful sight to see. 

I found Grace to be sooo much more than a character in a book. She’s you and me. She’s your friend, your mother, your sister. A woman full of pain, scars, secrets, and a past that dictates her need for complete control. A strong woman who does everything in her power to keep those she loves safe and protected. A woman who’s been broken, beaten, and damaged. A woman so full of reasons to be fearful and hateful but puts those aside, as she’s tired of being a victim. A woman who knows that the inevitable is coming and she won’t be stopped until she’s won. 

On top of all that, Grace’s sweet and light. She's loving and loyal. She's funny and witty. She's encouraging and sees the positive. Everything Ian Jacobs is not. The complete opposite, but you know what they say about opposites attract…

These two were explosive. They exuded tension; their energy and chemistry off the charts, in and out of the bedroom. A complex duo, more alike than they realized. Individually, Ian and Grace were alluring. As a couple, they took the book to another level. They were absolutely intoxicating with the right balance of angst and lighthearted, flirty fun.
