From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all new story in her bestselling Big Sky Royal series!

Princess Eleanor has had it up to her royal eyeballs. She’s surrounded by suitable men, each more rude and obnoxious than the last. None of them are worthy of her heart—not to mention her virginity. So what’s a girl to do? Flee to Montana to stay with her brother, lay low, and avoid both the media and the men, that’s what.

Liam Cunningham is the head of security in Montana for the royal family. For a man who has seen the worst of human nature in the Army, being in Cunningham Falls is a balm to his tattered soul.

Princess Eleanor, on the other hand, is a royal pain in the butt. She’s proven in the past that she’s a troublemaker. She’s also beautiful, smart, and everything good in life that he doesn’t deserve.

But when Ellie proposes the idea of Liam being her sex coach, how can he resist?

Princess Eleanor has taken off from London to hide out in Montana with her brother and new sister-in-law. She is sick of royal setups and men out to use her for her title. And now she is coming face to face again with one of the security personnel again. The hot guy she pissed off the last time she was there.

Liam is the Head of Security for the royals in Montana. He is serious, focused, broody, and has lasting effects from his time in the military and a traumatic event in his past. Ellie knows how to push his buttons. Last year she caused a royal incident that hit too close to home for Liam.

He knows she is trouble, but he is also unfortunately attracted to her. And Ellie is determined to convince Liam to help her gain experience in sexual relations. Liam takes his job seriously and he knows it is a bad idea and she should be off-limits, but she is tempting and persistent.

It was certainly not supposed to involve feelings, but things happen. On paper they don't match, but in life they seem to have potential. But can their love affair survive two different worlds, classes,  and personal issues?

This is an engaging, sweet, and sexy love story taking us from Montana to London. I really liked Liam and Ellie individually and together, although I did want to shake sense into them at times for their rash behavior and failure to properly communicate.  I think I expected more external issues, but it dealt more with personal insecurities and a bit of relationship angst. I enjoyed being back in inter-connected community of Cunningham Falls and visiting with their friends and family. I am looking forward to the next book in this series featuring the younger royal brother, Callum.
Princess Eleanor doesn’t have many places she can hide out to avoid royal pressure, but her brother’s house in Montana is peaceful and she can get there without too much trouble. Hiding from a series of failed suitors, Ellie just wants to relax without feeling like she has to put on a show.

Liam Cunningham has been the head of security for the royals in Montana, protecting Sebastian. But when Ellie arrives unscheduled and Sebastian is scheduled to be out of town, Liam takes over her protection so her regular bodyguard can go on paternity leave. Normally the shift in duties wouldn’t be a problem, but there is an attraction simmering between them that challenges Liam’s normally laser focus.

The sparks fly between these two fly almost immediately, though they do try to keep a certain amount of decorum between them. Liam is determined to treat Ellie right and follow certain rules, even as Ellie is determined to throw caution to the wind and start something between them. I loved the balance between Ellie’s playful side and Liam’s stoicism. But they also have royal duties to contend with, and the pressure from society will be huge if they go public with their relationship.

This was a sweet, fun return to the royal contingent at Cunningham Falls, as well as a return to many of the Big Sky families. The cameos of favorite characters was entertaining, and I can’t wait to see what happens if Callum spends a little more time in Montana with his brother.

Our reviews

The first in an all new stand-alone trilogy set in Kristen Proby's Big Sky world, Enchanting Sebastian will take your breath away!

Turning thirty-five doesn’t mean much to most men. For Sebastian Wakefield, it’s the end of life as he knows it.

When your father is the King of England, thirty-five is the year that a marriage will be arranged, a suitable bride cementing a future you didn’t choose. The obvious solution for escaping the archaic laws of the throne is for Sebastian to leave the country. And where better to go than America?

Nina Wolfe has spent her career avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist and minor celebrity in her own right, she knows exactly what it takes to keep the media at bay—and what will send them into a frenzy.

Prince Sebastian hiding out in Cunningham Falls, Montana is an unlikely story. Ending up in his bed, even more so. And keeping their arrangement out of the press might just be impossible. The ring on her finger is about to spark a firestorm that will change her life, and no professional spin will help Nina fit into the world of royalty.

Only love could write an enchanting new beginning—if they’ll let themselves fall.

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.

During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.

Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.

Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two cats.
