For Regan Penhaligon, there's no better place to run to than the exclusive Ardnoch Estate in the remote Scottish Highlands. Her impulsive behavior has finally caught up with her and Regan's visit with her sister, Robyn, is an opportunity to hide from someone who has grown dangerously obsessed with her.
Determined to make amends for her mistakes, Regan plans to repair her relationship with Robyn by staying close. And when an offer of help comes from Thane Adair, Regan gratefully accepts.

Widower, Thane, needs a new nanny housekeeper for his two young children and when they bond with Regan Penhaligon, he offers her the job. But as the weeks pass and the complex American reveals who she really is, Thane struggles with his growing attraction to her.

Regan never expected to feel so intensely for Thane, but she can't deny her passion for him or her love for his children. When someone from Thane's past threatens his family, Regan wants to be his pillar of support. However, his continued inability to trust her might just destroy their chance at future happiness... and the person who drove Regan to Ardnoch might snuff out her chance for any future at all.

As I type this review with red, swollen eyes, I have to admit, There With You has left me mentally exhausted. The angst, frustration, and emotional roller coaster Young took me on...talk about all the feels.

Lord have mercy, Thane and Regan brought me to my knees. The dynamic between our hero and heroine wrapped me right up and kept me captivated from start to finish! There was just so much to adore about them; from their personalities, to their crazy, insane chemistry, to the way they raised Thane's babies together, to everything in between. This duo was everything I didn't realize I needed or even wanted. They weren't Arro and Mac (please be next!), who I was dying to get my hands on. They didn't pique my interest during Here With Me. I didn't crave them. They were just two side characters, who happened to be related to two characters I feel in love with. If they got a story, great, if not, no biggie.

Thank you, Samantha Young, for giving me my newest addiction!

With that said, I'm not going to sugar coat it, if Thane were a real person I would've kneed him in the balls, quite a few times. Ugh! He frustrated me sooo damn much. His distrust and insecurities drove me up the wall, especially since they lasted until the very last minute. I mean, I totally got the reasons he had them, but still...we didn't see real growth until it was almost too late. WHY do they always resist and deny deny deny?! WHY?! It would save us all so much trepidation. On the other hand, when he was in a good headspace, he was absolutely perfect. In those moments he deserved Regan.

I don't say this often about a female character, Regan carried this book. I absolutely loved the hell out of her. More than I loved Robyn. If it wasn't for her, I don't know if I would have loved this one as much. In Here With Me, Ree-Ree is presented as an irresponsible wild child. In There With You, she immediately owned her shit and she grew from it. Classic case of it isn't always as it seems. Our girl shined like a diamond. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. It pissed me off when Thane would doubt her or tell her she was too young to know what she actually wanted in life. Regan was solid. Can't say the same for her other half.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend this series. And while you can technically read this as a standalone, I wouldn't.
