Alden has always liked a challenge, and what could be more difficult than not one, but two stubborn boys?

Five years ago the military returned me home short one leg with scars covering one side of my body. I learned to live with it, I built a new life for myself, and I found a way to love the new body I was given… there’s just one thing I can’t accept.

I have no right to want someone as vibrant and beautiful as Nolan, not when a very vital part of my anatomy doesn’t want to work anymore. What use would a man like that be to him?

Alden can’t seem to stop meddling between the two of us, and I hate to admit it, but there’s something about him that manages to fix what’s broken in me.

Has anyone else ever developed a Daddy kink after getting blown to smithereens, or is it just me?

More importantly, are the three of us going to be able to find a way to fit together?

This dynamic is so intriguing between these guys and has been building in the background through their friend's books.

Alden is a lonely, rich, successful businessman who has seen his best friends find their boys and happiness. He longs for what they have, but just seems to be sitting back wanting his assistant and waiting.

Gannon is a broody, feisty, stubborn army vet and now their corporate assistant. His scars run deep and affect his self-worth and make him think no one would truly want a relationship with him...including his best friend, Nolan, who he has a huge crush on.

Nolan is a sassy, confident, and sweet event planner. He is crushing on Gannon as well but does not truly understand what holds him back.

Gannon and Nolan are afraid to admit what they want and be vulnerable enough to discuss the issues until Alden gets involved. Alden has been watching his assistant for a while and he cannot help wading into the situation. But what begins as help starts to lead into the possibility of something that none of them ever considered. But it might be just the answer that they all need.

I really enjoyed the dynamics between these three. There was a lot going on under the surface and they all had different needs and expectations, but somehow fit. It is about trust, communication, exploration, and changing attitudes. It is a process of discovery between all three of them.

It was actually quite beautiful to see how they complemented and cared for each other. Alden strives to be in control but is also a caretaker. Nolan is fun and snarky, but also caring and finds parts to himself that surprise him. It also focuses on Gannon and his journey to take back his life and find hope and fulfillment. The most powerful part for me was how Alden and Nolan both tried to make Gannon see himself the way they saw him and prove to him that he was not damaged or broken but totally worthy of more love than he ever thought he deserved.

K.M. Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, straight romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together.
She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series.

When she’s not writing, she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky, Lola, while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
