When I finished reading KD Casey's debut novel Unwritten Rules I was so impressed that I asked her to co-write a fun little scene with me between two baseball players. We'd both written baseball romances so this made perfect sense. We had such a great time with these characters that a short scene turned into a sexy, flirty, dirty standalone novella that we love. Even though it is a novella, due to the way it was structured, I felt like we got a full and rich enough story for them to see their attraction and feelings evolve over time and not be an insta-love situation. I was totally cheering them on.
