Raise your hand if you’ve ever done this. Written a racy message and sent it to—oops—the wrong person.Yeah, me too. Except, I sent my latest Tales of a Naughty Virgin column detailing my fantasies about my hot, charming, thoroughly bangable next-door-neighbor to…MY ENTIRE COMPANY.

Did I mention I’m a children’s book editor?

Well, I was.

*Facepalm*

At least the column goes viral, but I’m still the gal who gets fired for her not-safe-for-work thoughts about the so-called “Mister Sexy Pants.”

Now I need a job stat, so I jump on the first opportunity. And I come face to face with my new boss.

Mister Sexy Pants himself.

Item number one on my to-do list? Make sure my boss never finds out his alter ego…since all of New York knows I want Mister Sexy Pants to punch my virgin club card.

Contents Include: A sexy and clever romp of an MF, dual-POV, mistaken identity romantic comedy, complete with dating mishaps, sizzling sexual tension, a hot nerd of a boss hero, a chaotically delightful heroine, an awkward incident with glitter, and a virgin’s NSFW to-do list.

This book was just what I needed! An amusing, flirty, sweet, and sexy romp with such lovable characters.

Veronica Valentine was coasting through life until suddenly she was not. A cluster of mishaps, mistakes, and misadventures seem to be changing the course of her life. She is spunky, snarky, sweet, creative,  and full of life. But now she has to take a little detour from the career she was building and regroup. She has also been crushing on a hottie from the neighborhood from afar but suddenly he is much closer than expected. She has no real-life sexual experience but lives a rich fantasy life that seems to be even more inspired by Mr. Sexy Pants.

Things are starting to look up again for Milo's life, but he has sworn off dating after a relationship-gone-wrong.  Even so, he can't help but notice the cute girl he keeps having run-ins with. And they hit it off so well he even thinks about bending his rules and at least maybe trying a hookup.

But in another chapter a series-of-unfortunate-events, that is squashed by a new workplace relationship. Dating at work is just one of those ideas that could end in an even worse disaster. These two have bad timing and the world seems to be conspiring against them to bring them together at times but also keep them apart. She's still fantasizing and has a big secret.  He is charming, smart, witty, and sexy. He's resisting but has equally dirty thoughts. Temptation is real. And eventually, some extra-curricular activities are hot and addicting.

This is a delightful, fast-paced, quirky, entertaining, sexy, life-and-other-misadventures, girl-in-the-big city, employee-boss rom-com. They are both definitely nice but also have a lot of naughty thoughts that lead to even more naughty adventures. They are two witty, flirty, genuine, sex-positive, and just-so-darn-likable people finding a connection when they least expect it, but life seems to be both bringing them together and throwing obstacles in their way.  This couple and their story had me smiling and swooning. and their chemistry is off the charts and they are totally in sync!

They just play off each other so well in daily life, with their senses of humor and rapport, and even the love of their little dog friends. And in the bedroom, they are most definitely compatible and equally inspired. She’s ready to explore anything and he’s ready to go right along with her and support her in that journey. Things have the potential to be fantastic but there are also some fears that make it seem like it might be too good to be true and hold them back. It’s a story of growth for both of them and trying to figure out what they need to be happy. So it’s about living life to its fullest and how it can be much better with somebody by your side if you’re just willing to be brave and trust in it.

Their friend groups add so much humor, but also so much support. I have enjoyed her sister Hazel in other books but now I seriously cannot wait for her to get her own story that was teased a bit. A few of his guy friends like Axel and Drew, as well as his brother, Bryan, and her friend, Ellie, and co-workers all add to the framework of the story. I am really looking forward to these other characters getting their own books. Even the animals have big personalities and are fun to watch.

Veronica Valentine loves her job editing children’s books, but she also anonymously writes a steamy adult column. Both jobs spark different sides of her creativity and passions, though most people don’t know she is the Friendly Neighborhood Virgin. The popularity of her column is picking up, especially as she chronicles her run-ins with a sexy mystery man.

Milo Dawson built his combo bike and flower shop from the ground up, and though he hit a personal snag that threatened his business, he has new ventures coming up and hope that the mistakes are in his past. He is attracted to the cute dog-owner with quirky taste he keeps running into, but isn’t looking for anything except right now.

When Veronica has a series of job related mishaps that lead to her losing her editing job, she follows a lead to a temporary opening at a local shop. Milo needs someone to cover the floral side of his shop while his regular manager goes on maternity leave. They didn’t know each other’s identities until she walked into his shop, but it is quickly clear that they need to keep things professional for the time being.

I loved the development as they got to know each other and opened up outside of work. Their banter was always witty and cute (as expected if a character works with words for a living!). Veronica is very open and aware of what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it, even though she may not have the experience.

This was a light hearted, sexy, fun neighborhood story. I loved how their worlds were so closely tied together, even though they had only met in passing before finding themselves working together (and finally exchanging names). Their chemistry was strong, and I liked the way they talked things through in so many situations. Their dogs added several fun moments to the mix, and as always the pets become their own group of side characters. I am looking forward to more from the Dating Games series.
