This installment is a one-night stand, slow-burn, second chance, small-town, romantic suspense story about sacrifice, heartbreak, hope, and family. There are some definite surprises and twists. Holden and Sophie are definitely tested and there are some nail-biting moments.
All along the way their friends that we have come to love in this series and also another beloved series help the couple to navigate these delicate situations. Holden and Sophie are wonderful together. They are just such good, caring, loving people and they adore their daughter so much. Eden is just a precious sweetheart. I also loved their relationships with Mama James.
I have really enjoyed this Rose Canyon series with the complex relationships and the very unique challenges they have all faced and the mystery and suspense elements to all the stories. I am sorry it is ending but also excited about Addison's story in the spin-off.
