From USA Today bestselling author Marley Valentine comes an all new emotional, hurt/comfort, polyamorous romance.
We longed. We lost. We loved. Desperately.
I thought I had my life all figured out. But after a college football accident leaves me deaf, I was learning how to live all over again.
I expected the anger, the frustration, and the struggle to readjust, but what I didn’t expect to happen amongst the chaos, was to fall in love.
Especially not with two men.
Rough-edged puzzle pieces, Rhys, Samuel, and I were nothing but aching memories, painful realities, and hidden scars.
We were products of our pasts, abandoned and unloved, messy and complicated. Individually we had baggage; together we had mountains to climb.
But when the three of us were tangled up in one another, spilling secrets in the dark, hearts beating in sync, nothing else mattered but them.
We needed to break the cycle, because they deserved love… And who knows, maybe I finally did too.
Unloved is a heartbreaking and heartwarming story about connections, hope, acceptance, trust, and unconditional love.
Lennox York has known tragedy, loss, and has abandonment issues. He was a foster kid left by his parents and then again by his biological brother. He was doing well in his college life but then his life unexpectedly changed again. Not only by the precipitating event, but also by his brother's return to the family, dealing with the repercussions in his life, but also by seeing who stays by his side.
Samuel Hart is Lennox's best friend. He is an All-American boy and fellow college football player. But he also knows how tragedy can affect all aspects of someone's life. He has been in love with Lennox but was too afraid to tell him. But the thought of losing Lennox spurs him into action.
Rhys Denser is a recovering addict struggling to find his way in life, get over the hard times in his own past, and prove to himself he can beat his struggles. When his sponsor introduces him to Arlo and his gym, he has no idea what that would lead to and how it would change his life.
Lennox, Samuel, and Rhys are like three souls that just seem to connect on a deeper level. They are bonded by past pain, self-worth and abandonment issues, need, want, and comfort. But they also have emotional triggers and fear of loss. It adds this intensity to their connection.
Although it is initially Lennox who needs to hold their hands to get through his struggles, throughout the course of their story they all find themselves needing support at times. It is not only the three of them bonding together, but also the addition of their families. It brings back Lennox's foster siblings Arlo, Clem, Remy, and his brother, Frankie. But Samuel and Rhys also have complex family relationships as well.
This book pulled me right in and I did not want to put it down. I loved all three of these guys and how they worked hard to understand, care for, and be there for each other. Their relationships were all equally important to each other, and they were truly a loving throuple. And the whole aspect of found family is really beautiful. I am looking forward to more in this series.

Unwanted
Two halves of a whole, Arlo Bishop and I were both unwanted kids brought together by the foster system. Dealing with the aftermath of neglect and abandonment, we grew up side by side and found solace in one another.
We wanted.
We needed.
We loved.
Desperately.
But somewhere along the way, Arlo wanted and needed and loved drugs more. So, I did the only thing I could and broke my own heart to save his.
Now, four years later, I’m back in L.A. and face-to-face with my past. Not only does the pain and hurt of our mistakes linger between us but so do our feelings.
I didn’t plan on a second chance—fear of history repeating itself making it hard to forgive and even harder to forget. But with only one touch, one kiss, I was taken back to where it all started.
Two halves of a whole, Arlo and I were made for each other. But we were no longer the unwanted foster kids.
We were grown men.
And I wanted nothing more than him.
