Marrying Mr. Majestic
Lucy Lennox
Release Date: July 2 Website Store/July 9, 2024 Amazon

I’ve made myself into many things over the years. A Yale graduate. A brilliant corporate strategist. A city boy. And, though no one outside my inner circle knows it, a billionaire.

One thing I never expected to be? Accidentally married to a straight, small-town cowboy named Waylon, the pride and joy of… *checks notes*... Majestic, Wyoming.

Sadly, what happens in Vegas does not, in fact, stay in Vegas, and before I know it, I’m trying to track my erstwhile husband down, divorce papers in hand and thrift store clothes on my back, desperately hoping the stranger I married won’t realize he’s suddenly entitled to a lot more than that shiny gold ring on his finger.

Unfortunately, Way has other plans.

His town is counting on him as mayor to bring the lucrative AdventureSmash wilderness race to Majestic, and he refuses to sign my papers until the deal is done… which means me and my second-hand blue jeans will be hanging around a lot longer than I’d imagined, pretending our one-night whatever-it-was was a love match for the ages.

As it turns out, Majestic is more charming than I’d expected, and Way… is not entirely without charms himself. It also turns out he’s, ahem, not as straight as he thought he was.

Before I know it, dusty boots feel more comfortable than my shiny wingtips, coffee at the Love Muffin tastes better than Starbucks, and being the First Husband of Majestic starts to seem as important as any corporate merger I’ve ever negotiated.

But for a man with secrets to keep and a whole life waiting for him back in Manhattan, the only thing worse than Marrying Mr. Majestic… would be falling in love with him for real.

Two men go to Vegas with the best of intentions, but end up in a bar with alcohol and leave there with a couple souvenirs, including wedding bands and a certificate.

Waylon Fletcher is a seemingly straight rancher and mayor from the small town of Majestic,Wyoming. Silas Concannon is a secret billionaire and corporate strategist from Manhattan. And when Silas comes to Majestic to take care of the little matter, it gets a bit more complicated. Now Mr. Manhattan is playing his role as  First Husband of Mr. Majestic at least temporarily.

Silas is fascinated by the crazy, gossip-hungry small town and Waylon needs to make the situation appear less impulsive. And Silas has his own reasons for keeping his new husband temporarily happy. It should be a win-win with a set deadline.

I loved the chemistry between these two. They’re passionate and insatiable, even though there are a lot of firsts for Waylon. I loved how Silas wanted to help and fix things for Whalen even though Way had a hard time accepting help. It’s like they couldn’t help being real husbands while they’re trying to convince themselves that they’re fake husbands, but all the elements are there for them to have a wonderful real relationship. Well, all except the fact that Silas is supposed to be leaving and he lives in New York.

Whalen is a guy who tries to be everything for everyone and has so many decisions to make that he’s just drowning under pressure, but at the same time, it’s hard for him to give up control and trust that somebody has his back. And Silas is protective and a fixer that thrives on taking care of things, taking action, and making things better for those he cares about. So they’re such a great match and an unlikely pair since they are such opposites and from different backgrounds. But I also liked seeing Silas thrive as a fish out of water and push his own boundaries to try to learn new things and fit in in the small town. He’s truly the perfect first husband of Majestic and un unexpected blessing for Way. But it is also scary to be vulnerable and not know what the other one is really feeling.

This is a Vegas marriage of convenience, opposites-attract, bi-awakening, cowboy-city boy, small-town romance with wit, charm, sweetness, and steam. It's about finding trust, home, purpose, support, and companionship. I enjoyed the new characters from Majestic including Way's cousin, Foster, and also Silas' friend group introduced in Prince of Lies: Bash and Rowe, Dev, Landry, Kenji, and Zane. They also both have strong, loving sisters. The quirky small-town setting is fun and comes alive in the pages.

I liked that we also got a little peek of Dev's book and I’m very interested in seeing how things happen with him

Kim's 4.5 to 5 star review

Rowe Prince is many things.
Gorgeous? Yes.
Unintentionally hilarious? Absolutely.
The hottest, sunshiniest virgin to ever set foot in Manhattan? Oh, yeah.

One thing he’s not, though, is a reclusive billionaire named Sterling Chase who supposedly founded my company. So when the man (literally) stumbles into a charity gala saying precisely that, I do what anyone would: I set out to prove he’s a liar.

Except it turns out Rowe’s ridiculous falsehoods are surprisingly… enchanting. The heart of gold beneath his borrowed tux makes even a jaded businessman like me start to believe in fairy tales. And there’s no faking the heat between us when the man’s in my bed.

But when it turns out Rowe’s lies conceal a secret that threatens the company I’ve spent years building, I have to choose: say goodbye to the sweet pretender I’m falling for, or risk everything for a man who just might be… the prince of lies.

Inheriting Miss Fortune
September 10, 2024

I came to Majestic, Wyoming, to escape a painful past—the loss of my brother, my parents’ blame, and a billion-dollar windfall that tore my family apart. Here, I find peace in a horse breeding program and the memory of one unforgettable night two years ago.

But when the man from that night shows up with a daughter I didn’t know I had—born from a favor I did for a friend—my world is turned upside down. Gone are the quiet nights, replaced by cries for 'Daddy' and the watchful eyes of a man determined to judge my worth as a guardian for Lellie.

Despite the chaos, one thing is clear: I’m not the fortune-hunter Lellie’s maternal family thinks I am. My own secret ensures that. If I choose to keep her, it won’t be for the money.

It will be because this little girl and the man who brought her to me might just be the fresh start and new family I’ve been searching for. And maybe, the greatest gift of all is… Inheriting Miss Fortune.

After enjoying creative writing as a child, Lucy didn’t write her first novel until she was over 40 years old. Her debut novel, Borrowing Blue, was published in the autumn of 2016. Lucy has an English Literature degree from Vanderbilt University, but that doesn’t hold a candle to the years and years of staying up all night reading tantalizing novels on her own. She has three children, plays tennis, and hates folding laundry. While her husband is no shmoopy romance hero, he is very good at math, cooks a mean lasagne, has gorgeous eyes, looks hot in his business clothes, and makes her laugh every single day.

Lucy hopes you enjoy sexy heroes as much as she does. Happy reading!
