Of all the creatures I could have accidentally mate bonded with, did it have to be a dragon slayer?

I never let my dragon take control. Never. Distraught after the death of a friend, I made a mistake…

Finding a beautiful, broken Viking on the verge of death in the middle of a forest, all of my instincts screamed at me to save him. My dragon wouldn’t have it any other way. For two-thousand years I’ve saved my mating fire, waiting for fate to bring me true, binding love. But with this stranger only a breath away from the afterlife, I didn’t have a choice.

I can’t really be mated to a dragon slayer, can I? There has to be a way to break this bond before his brothers come looking for him or mine realize what I’ve done.

The only problem is, the more time I spend with the captivating, big hearted man, the more I think that fate might have had a hand in things after all…

Is he feeling it too, or am I about to get burned?

Lord has been the older, uptight, stoic, in-control, protective Drake brother. He has helped as his younger brothers found love and mates but wondered if fate passed him by. But one day, his dragon compels him to save a dying Viking, and his whole world is changed. Now the most logical Drake has made what could be seen as a really big mistake. For he has bonded himself to a dragon hunter.

Alrick Havaror is a human raised in a tough hunter family. There was no love and only training and single-minded beliefs that dragons are evil and should be destroyed. But Alrick has been the shame of his family and has not performed like his brothers or father.

As Lord helps Alrick heal, they embark on an adventure. Lord has a mission in mind to do what he thinks is right under the circumstances. And Alrick is following along and buying the cover-up story. But along the way they are dealing with an attraction, connection, passion, and bond that is growing stronger. But the situation with their families seems impossible and Lord is not sure how Alrick would accept the secrets he is keeping.

This is a heartfelt and steamy romance between star-crossed lovers, species enemies, and unexpected soulmates that could be either the biggest mistake or blessing in their lives. I loved Lord and Alrick together. Alrick is just the sweetest guy that was starved for love and Lord is just so protective and thankful of having a mate to care for even as he struggles with the fact he might not be able to keep him. They will need help to figure out a possible way forward to deal with all of the challenges and threats against them. And it definitely deals with life-or-death situations.

It brings in all the Drake brothers and their mates and introduces a few new interesting characters. It had some twists that made the story unpredictable. I really enjoyed this one and the family epilogue. I am sad that this is the end of the Drake brothers but hope these authors write more together in this paranormal world.

Kims review

Protecting him is my job. Finding out he’s my fated mate wasn’t part of the assignment.

Lake Forrester III entered my life like a wrecking ball. Drake Security, the firm I run with my brothers, was hired to protect him from a stalker ex, but what Lake doesn’t know is that he’s not dealing with your average unhinged human. The obsessed wolf shifter he unknowingly dated will stop at nothing to get Lake in his clutches.
Just another day in the life of a dragon bodyguard.
The one thing I never expected was for Lake to be my fated mate. To say my protective instincts are in overdrive is an understatement. I’ll move mountains to keep him safe and delight in tearing the wolf apart with my bare hands if he gets too close to my mate. If it unleashes all-out war with the wolf packs, so be it. I never claimed to be the levelheaded one.
In the meantime, my only focus is Lake and his safety. If anyone hurts him, it’ll be the last thing they do. My dragon will make sure of it.

****This is a grumpy/sunshine, fated mates, dragon shifter MM romance with NO MPREG

Smolder
(Drake Security#2)

I was hired to protect him, but will our smoldering attraction ignite into love?

When my hot headed brother found his fated mate, a deep, aching desire opened up inside of me for my own. Everyone knows dragons are covetous, jealous… possessive. I am all of these things, but never more so than when I set my eyes on Dempsey for the first time.

Beautiful. Awkward. Sweet. Shy. Perfect. My dragon wants to wrap himself around him the moment he bumps into me outside of his antique shop. Dempsey, however, is not as keen on that idea as my inner beast is.

He hired Drake Security for protection, and he needs it even more than he realized. Unfortunately, we specialize in brute strength and burning sh*t to the ground, and the problem Dempsey has is way out of our league.

Is he my fated mate or am I just so desperate for one that I’m falling for him too fast? Either way, I’ll move heaven and hell to protect him, even if the forces that are after him are unlike anything I’ve dealt with before.

I’ve spent thousands of years hoarding books and storing their words close to my heart. Will the love stories that live inside my soul be enough to woo him? Is it too much to hope that fate has chosen him for me?

**** Smolder is book 2 in the Drake Security series and has a reluctant fated mate, dragon shifters, book swooning, ancient mysteries, and magic. Each book can be read on its own, but is so much better if read in order. The series is all dragons, NO MPREG.

He’s my nemesis, my rival, and the man I can’t get out of my head. We may be star-crossed but there’s enough heat between us to start a wildfire.

I’ve never been one to follow the rules, but sleeping with a wolf shifter might be over the line, even for me. So, why can’t I get him out of my head? Or his scent out of my nose. Even on the other side of the world, I swear I can still smell him.

Everyone has a hobby, mine just happens to be stealing from the rich and powerful to give back to the rightful owners. A native art exhibit in Sydney is the last place I expected to see Draydon again. I can’t shake the feeling that he’s here for the same reason I am… and here I thought larceny couldn’t get any more fun.

I’m a dragon without a proper hoard and he’s too jaded to even trust his own pack. But we’ve already lit a fire that’s getting out of hand.

Stealing Draydon’s heart might be my most impossible heist yet.

Inferno
Kim's review

I know I should keep my hands off of Montrose. But the one thing dragons and demons have in common is how much we love to play with fire.

My youngest brother has always had a knack for getting himself into trouble, but this time he’s stolen from the wrong demon and it might just be the last mistake he ever makes.

I have no reason to trust Montrose, but my dragon does anyway. There's something about the vibrant, sassy incubus that calls to me, no matter how hard I try to resist.

Saving my brother's scales should be top priority, but this inferno between Montrose and I just keeps heating up.

If fate put him in my path, can I trust that we'll make it to the other side of this disaster together? There's only one way to find out…

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series. When she’s not writing she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
