Dylan doesn’t do relationships. He and his older brother watched their dad go through hell and back, so they made a pact years ago—no girl would come between the Gibson boys. But his brother sells out. He's getting married anyway. To the sister of a chick Dylan met at a party, who's probably the angriest girl he's ever met. Unfortunately, she happens to be hot, too.

Ziah’s life is upside down—her safe boyfriend turns out to be not-so-safe, and now her sister is getting married before college is over to the older brother of a spoiled, party boy who drives her crazy. And also makes her heart beat too fast.

There’s no denying the attraction, but there's also no denying how much they irritate each other. When they’re thrown together as forced wedding planners, they find an ally in each other--neither wants this wedding to happen.

But instead of putting a stop to the crazy nuptials they find themselves at fittings and cake testing. And maybe even…a few dates?
Dizzy is a novel about what happens when two people who are determined not to fall in love, maybe do anyway. Maybe.

Kim's Review:
A sweet YA novel!

This is the story of Derrick and Lora who are newly engaged and their younger siblings Dylan and Ziah who are not thrilled for them due their own views on marriage. Dylan and Ziah first meet briefly at a party just enough to clash and feel an immediate spark.

Dylan:

He's hot. Like, rich-boy mixed with hand picked genetics or something. ...I can't take in a deep breath, But then I do, and he smells...amazing. Like boy, bug good. Ii'm seriously dizzy just from standing close to ths guy.

Ziah:

The girl with the plump lips who looked at me like she either wanted to kiss me or stab me. I'm not even sure she knew which one."

...my future sister-in-law who happens to be the angriest girl I've ever met....I have visions of her going home after the dinner sticking pins in her Derrick and Dylan voodoo dolls.

The happy couple throw their siblings together and force them to help with wedding planning much to their horror. But the more they are around each other, the more they start to change their views on each other, friendships, relationships and marriage.

...being with someone isn't hard when you're with the right girl. Maybe this is what moving forward feels like.

It was a fast, fluffy, fun read with a quirky sense of humor. I liked the chemistry and humor between Dylan and Ziah. There were some serious and emotional issues they had to get through as well. They both grew throughout the book and changed their views on themselves, their family, and eachother. It was a sweet YA story about finding a place to belong.
