There’s nothing worse than living next door to your childhood nemesis, except maybe being forced to share your dream project with him, being blackmailed into going along with something that was just wrong on so many levels, and having your hot cocoa stolen by the person that drove you to drink it in the first place.
As long as she has plenty of hot cocoa, a pair of pliers on hand and is able to resist Connor O’Neil’s bad boy charm then Rory James should be able to make it through this project with her sanity intact. If not…..
She’d probably face a few more nights in jail, have a few more restraining orders slapped against her and lose her heart to the man that ruined her life.

The first 2 books in this series are also hilarious and definitely worth reading!

Another hilarious installment in the Neighbor from Hell series.
The
sparring of Conner and Rory cracked me up. Their escapades were so
mean, but so funny that I was laughing out loud. I liked Connor's
domineering nature but also the fact that he was the only one protective
of Rory even when he was supposed to hate her. And he became extremely
sweet and swoony. Rory was strong and sharp, but could be manipulated by
her hot chocolate obsession.
I was so happy to see Jason and Trevor and more Bradfords show up in this book to add more comic relief.
"Your trail mix tastes funny," Trevor said with a cringe.
"That wasn't trail mix, you bastard! That was potpourri!"...The man was a Bradford. Enough said.
The fact that Connor seemed to be the only man on Earth that remembered that she was a woman, even as he tortured the hell out of her, annoyed her. She didn't want him to notice her and she sure as hell didn't like the fact on some level she liked it. She hated him and always would.
Rory: "Stupid, toe curling kissing bastard!"

I really loved Connor and he could be so sweet.
"But I'd take you because you're the best part of my day, Rory. Always have been and always will be."
and another line that made me swoon...
Connor: "Anything.
Everything. She can have my house, my business, everything that I have.
I don't care about any of it. The only thing I want is her. "

I
stayed up til 1 am reading this book in one sitting. The characters are
so outspoken and hilarious. Their verbal sparring kept the story
moving. I really liked the fact that you saw such a change Jason because
of his friendship and relationship with Haley. Of course there were
things they both did that made me want to smack them, but I forgave
them. Had a great epilogue too.
