Just when I thought Colleen Hoover could not top Slammed....
I was wrong! This was butterflying fantastic!

I've been kissing her everyday for over a year, and it somehow gets better everytime.

Lake and Will are such a perfect couple. It was comfy to continue to see the progression in their lives since the last book. Of course, the reader wants happily ever after. And typically, we are going to have to go through some trials to get there. There are dumb mistakes that turn into colossal hurdles. And then there are devastating events that make you hold your breath and pray for a good outcome. It is an emotional rollercoaster with highs and lows. Basically there are sucks and there are sweets. Through it all you keep frantically reading and hoping to get to a happy place so you can breathe again.

Love is the most beautiful thing in the world. Unfortunately, it's also one of the hardest things in the world to hold on to, and one of the easiest things to throw away.

In the midst of all of this, you meet some fun new neighbors wise-cracking over-mature Kiersten and her wise mom Sherry. You find yourself laughing along with Gavin, Eddie, Kel, and Caulder too.

I loved having Will's POV and journal entries. In the first book the slams were a way of seeing into their souls more, but in this book we also have Will's journal entries to see into his heart.

If I were a carpenter, I would build you up a window to my soul. But I would leave that window shut and locked, so that every time you tried to look through it...all you would see is your own reflection. Your would see that my soul is a reflection of you.

It's worth all the aches,
All the tears,
the mistakes...
The hearts of a man and a woman in love?
It's worth all the pain in the world.

And even though this book ends in a good place, I cannot help but be excited to read more about Lake and Will's future in the next book .

**Thanks to netgalley and Simon and Schuster for the opportunity to read and review this book.
