New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy concludes her sexy Billionaire Bachelors Club series with a fiery romance that refuses to be left at the office…
Bryn James can’t take much more. Smart, sexy Matthew DeLuca is everything she wants in a man, but he’s also her boss—the youngest, hottest vineyard owner in the Napa Valley—and he doesn’t see her as anything more than his shy assistant. That’s all about to change. Armed with a hot new look and an attitude to match, Bryn is determined to catch Matt’s eye… professionalism be damned. With his winery’s grand reopening approaching, Matt is trying to stay focused, but Bryn is suddenly making it very difficult. He’s always thought her prim demeanor effortlessly sexy, but Matt can’t deny that her transformation is jaw-dropping …and going to make it very difficult to keep his hands to himself. But when one thing leads to another and suddenly Matt is stripping Bryn bare, he’ll be faced with the biggest risk of his career—and his heart. Can he convince her—and himself—that this might just be more than a no-strings office affair?
SAVOR PLAYLIST
Not every book I write do I use a playlist, but for SAVOR, I
had a short one that I listened to again and again. I hear the songs now (and
this tends to happen with every playlist I create) and I automatically think of
Matt & Bryn, my couple from SAVOR. I love how just hearing a song takes me
right back to being in that place, writing their story.
One song that’s on the playlist that I love is Vultures by
John Mayer. The last few books I’ve worked on, that John keeps making an
appearance. Can I admit he used to drive me crazy and I could hardly stand his
songs (Say What You Need to Say comes to mind – that is ALL THAT SONG SAYS,
ahem). But now? I’m a total JM fan.
I chose Vultures because the lyrics make me think of Matt
and Bryn and how they felt before they met each other. Specifically these
lines:
But I’ll walk through the fire
If this is what it takes
To take me even higher
Then I’ll come through
Like I do
When the world keeps
Testing me, testing me, testing me
Both Matt and Bryn have been through a lot prior to them
meeting. They both rose above their struggles and came out stronger in the end.
To me, that means it was the perfect time for these two to meet and eventually
fall in love…
Another song on my SAVOR playlist is Treasure by Bruno Mars.
I love that dude. Every song he releases, I swear it’s an instant hit. They’re
all just so catchy. But what I really love about the song is the words. They’re
perfect for how Matt feels about Bryn:
You’re wonderful, flawless, ooh, you’re a sexy lady
But you walk around here like you wanna be someone else
Yes, that’s pretty much how Bryn feels in the beginning of
the book. She’s still desperate to hide her true self. And as Matt gets to know
her and see the real Bryn, these lyrics from Treasure could apply to her and
their situation as well:
Pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl you should be smiling
A girl like you should never look so blue
You’re everything I see in my dreams
I wouldn’t say that to you if it wasn’t true
The way Matt feels about her, the respect he shows her
(despite theirs being a boss/assistant romance – forbidden, ooh) brings Bryn
out of her shell and makes her realize she can be exactly who she is. She
doesn’t have to hide her true self.

Matt DeLuca is the last single man standing in the Billionaire's Bachelor Club. His friends, Asher and Gage have already found love and therefore lost the million dollar bet they had going. However, his friends are not so eager to pay up so they con Matt into sweetening the pot and extending the bet. Matt just has to avoid any kind of feminine relations for forty five days. That should be an easy bet as Matt is already in a dry spell, unattached and does not plan to be. But one woman throws a wrench in the works.
Matt is attracted to his assistant, Bryn. She's shy, quiet, and buttoned up. But he won't act on it since he needs her to help him with work at his new winery. Bryn has a crush on her boss too, but she does not think he likes her in that way. She hides behind a boring, bland facade to tone down her beauty since it has always made people treat her differently and got her into trouble in the past.

Matt is a retired pro baseball player forging a new career running a winery in a new place. He is a man who has lived the rich playboy life, in the spotlight, but is now seeing his best friends find good women to settle down with. He did not think he would fall, but Bryn makes it hard not to. He is a fair boss, sexy, charming, smart, and driven. He is a good guy trying to do the right thing, but what could be perceived as wrong by others just feels so right to him. He is trying to have a good public persona (unlike his father) and is trying to to build connections for his winery. A relationship between boss and assistant could damage both of their reputations and ruin their working relationship. So he tries to resist.
She seems nice and normal, quiet and unobtrusive and I am anything but. My life has been a circus sideshow for years.
Bryn left her small town for a reason. She is just trying to escape her past and starting over in California. She has always been chastised or used for her pretty face and good looks. She does not have really positive history with men in general. She wants to be taken seriously and avoid issues, so she tries to be a plainer, more no-nonsense girl. But a vivid, funny, intelligent woman is who is hiding under her baggy, beige dull wardrobe. But she longs for Matt to really see her.
I barely restrain myself. The man is like a drug, and I'm hopelessly addicted. Not only hopelessly, I'm happily addicted. It's ridiculous, how much I think about him. But he doesn't seem to think about me whatsoever.
Ivy (Asher's fiance') and Marina(Gage's girlfriend) decide it is time to give Matt a push and help Bryn with a makeover. That just adds fuel to the fire as Bryn starts showing her true personality and potential. Their chemistry is hot. Their rapport is easy going and they are both really nice people, but their pasts and current potentially volatile situation keeps stopping them. They are affected by fears, insecurities, financial and lifestyle differences, social norms, and of course the bet Matt stands to lose.
She's a contradiction. Innocent yet sexy, with the face of an angel and a body made for sin, One minute she's shy and acts inexperienced, the next she's a laughing, sultry mistress who looks like she wants to devour me in one swallow.
But can two people drawn together and working in such close proximity really resist? And if they do throw caution to the wind and go for it, what kind of consequences will they have to deal with?
I liked that we got both Matt and Bryn's points of view especially since their attraction was a secret from each other in the beginning. It was fun to see how totally oblivious they could be about the other one. I also liked that it built over time as they worked together and was not insta-love. But I felt that the end was a bit rushed and I was not ready for their story to be over. The endings of this whole series have felt that way to me, but at least then I knew that we would be seeing the couples again in the next friend's story. I would have liked to have seen at least an epilogue with updates from them and the other couples since this was the end of the trilogy. But I did enjoy seeing more with Asher, Gage, Ivy, and Marina in this installment. Their friendships are supportive, humorous and fun, and the couples are committed and loving. This was still a sweet, light, romantic read with likable characters and just enough angst and drama to keep it interesting.

Kim's 4 star review
Billionaire Archer Bancroft always gets what he wants—and he’s wanted Ivy Emerson, his best friend’s sister, for far too long. Being forbidden and untouchable only makes her more tempting. When a million-dollar bet with his friends throws down a challenge—last bachelor standing takes all—Archer knows he can win. That is, until one enchanted evening with Ivy takes his heart for a ride.
Ivy knows Archer is nothing but bad news: Infuriating, arrogant…and completely intoxicating. But despite her best efforts, she can’t seem to keep away. When a stolen kiss leads to a night of heated passion, Ivy realizes she’s in trouble and in head over heels.
But in the light of day, everything seems clearer and Archer’s not so sure a one-night stand is all he wants. Concocting a plan to keep Ivy by his side, Archer might just be willing to lose this bet…and win the jackpot instead.
