From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.

A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends.
Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes.
I didn’t know or care what her name was.
Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man.
She hates me, and she should.
I objected on her wedding day.
Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger.
They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable.
I’ll never be done with her.

OMG! This is a  whole new Meghan March world to become immersed in! And of course that means I cannot say too much without spoilers.

This one is richly layered in history, secrets, forbidden love, and family drama. This town is almost not big enough for these two families...the Riscoffs and the Gables...the haves and the have-nots.

I went in totally blind and was engrossed from the beginning with the setting, the characters, and the changing dynamics.  And the two people caught up in the middle of it--past and present--are plagued by a ton of unresolved feelings, pain, anger, guilt, insecurities, misunderstandings, and regret. There is seriously so much going on in this book in the ten year time period it spans.

I loved Lincoln. He's the perfect dichotomy of strong, rich, alpha male, but his vulnerable heart  knows who he wants. And he is so persistent and willing to go after her even if it is not a good idea. But he not only has to fight her fears, but also has to walk a fine line with staying in the good graces of his family who have very high expectations.

And Whitney...she's a girl whose choices have had consequences. Nothing comes easy for her, and she tends to run when things get too hard. She has lived a different life for ten years, but is now back home facing the man from her past. She is honest, sassy, sweet, but also lost, defeated, and overwhelmed.

A woman who feels like a curse and a failure. Her good intentions seem to end in drama and ruin. A man who wants her to believe she is worthy. He has everything money can buy, but could not hold on to the one thing he ever really wanted. And they are surrounded by a host of people with hidden agendas that would love nothing more than to keep them apart and perpetuate drama.

Being apart is hard, but being together brings just as much turmoil. The stakes are high, and they both have a lot to lose. And their choices could  have a ripple effect throughout their families.

Oh my! Be ready to be swept up! These people. This couple. This drama and angst! I love this new world! It is an epic and dynamic family saga with an intense forbidden, second-chance romance at the core. It is full of heartbreak, pain, betrayal, antagonism, but also serious chemistry, unresolved feelings, and some crazy humor. It is not as dark and deadly as the last two trilogies and has a more contemporary romance feel. But it still has all of the layers and connections woven together that make it a full, riveting, and compelling story and keeps you wondering what will come next.

Think sweeping sagas like Dallas and Dynasty with all the drama, feuds, and betrayals. It is told in dual points of view in the past and present. It is an intricately layered and well developed story with plenty of secrets, mysteries, twists,  and surprises...and yes, it is a trilogy so there is a cliffhanger too. And the couple at the center of it have such a strong connection and hot chemistry, but so many challenges.

I cannot freaking wait for more with this couple and all of the quirky and intense side characters! Some of them I love and some of them I hate, but it all just blends together to make this a captivating start to a new series. I am excited to find out more and see where the story goes.

A Gable and a Riscoff can never be friends, can never be together. The long time feud between two prominent families separates the founding family from the family that now owns most of the town.

Lincoln and Whitney have come a long way from the night they met. But Whitney just wants to put the years between behind her, including her attraction to the man who should be her enemy simply because of his last name. Now that she has returned home after 10 years away, she has changed, but so much about home has not, including the sparks between her and Lincoln.

These two have fantastic chemistry, especially considering the family expectations keeping them apart. But they also have the decisions that led Whitney to marry another man and the years in between standing in the way as well. I loved the way the plot bounced between present and past, giving readers the set up they need to understand the decisions made by each of the main characters.

The drama of this story is pretty epic. But for all the high drama, it didn’t feel angsty or over dramatic. The side characters added fire and fun, with their unique personalities that had me both ready to shake and hug several, or just shake them, depending on who it was. It was fast paced and jaw dropping with it’s entertainment value.

Meghan March is one of the authors that I like to go into reading blind. The less I know about the start of a new trilogy the better. I love trying to figure out where the twists are going to happen, and Richer Than Sin lived up to my expectations of a blind reading. I was caught off guard at the end with the final twist, leaving me highly anticipating Guilty As Sin.

Guilty until proven innocent.
That’s the way the world works, right?
I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.
The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.
If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.
To keep.
To cherish.
I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.
I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.
No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever.
