This book is HOT! Viper and Halo are both so freakin' H-O-T! Their chemistry is scorching! Things totally heat up while they are living in a bubble in Florida while recording their album.

Halo is not as intimidated anymore and he is coming into his own. He challenges and pushes Viper as much as Viper does him. And Viper is not the cold-hearted bastard he pretends to be. Though he does a great job of living in denial. Living in the moment is easier than being vulnerable or getting too deep.

But what happens when it is time to return to their real lives in New York with the expectations of their record company, families, and the media?

Denial can only cast a protective veil for so long. Eventually truths will be revealed whether they are ready to deal with it or not. And with this being totally new for both of them, sometimes choices that might seem right could actually be wrong. This is scary, intense, messy, emotional stuff that they are having to face. But the only way to figure out their true potential is to admit what is needed, be open, take a risk, and go after what is really important.

But are both Halo and Viper ready to do that? They both said they could just F*** without feelings but is that really possible? And what repercussions could it have for the band or their success if things go bad or even if they did want to move forward together?

So this book is sexy, steamy, and also full of feels. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book, Angel. I love these guys together. They balance each other so well, and have such great chemistry. But they are definitely a work in progress. Viper has never been prone to emotional entanglements and this has him reeling. And Halo is now part of a whole new world and just finding his place in it, while also navigating whatever it is with Viper. Getting to see more of their personalities and how they are changing really pulled me in deeper. They are literally a hot mess, but I love them.  I also enjoy their rapport with their band mates, Killian, Jagger, and Slade. I am looking forward to more with Killian in the future too.

And I have to say these covers are everything. They truly are Halo and Viper and I am dying to see the next one!
