Do you believe in hate at first sight?

Dixon
If I had to choose one word to describe my new cocky costar, it’d be exasperating. Nikolas Adamos may look like a Greek god—and he certainly struts around like he knows it—but unlike everyone else, I refuse to fall prey to his charms.

Unfortunately for me, Niko and I get paired to do a series of lovey-dovey boyfriend videos for our employers at Elite 8 Studios. And when you film the sort of scenes we do, up close and personal takes on a whole new meaning.

I may have to play nice while the cameras are rolling, but off set, it’s another matter entirely. So what if our chemistry is off the charts? That doesn’t mean a thing. Nor does the tender look in Niko’s eye when we’re together under the lights.

Because I know the truth. Nikolas Adamos revels in riling me up. And even though my pesky friends think I need fireworks after a string of fizzled relationships, I have no doubt if I allow myself to get any closer to my new fake boyfriend, I’ll only end up burned.

Dix is a grumpy/sunshine, one-sided enemies-to-lovers romance with hate at first sight, forced proximity for two costars who work between the sheets, banter and snark galore, plenty of industrial-sized lube, and one very HEA. It’s book 1 in the Elite 8 Studios series, featuring characters that were introduced in Virgin Hearts (Plum Valley Cowboys Book 2), but can be read as a standalone.

Dixon is one of Elite 8's most popular, built, and bossy top. He is kind of down and lost since he was left by two people important to him. He seems broody, stubborn, closed off, regimented, and emotionally unavailable, but he has a softer core he lets some people see. But when the newest porn star walks in the door, he has an instant reaction to him that he is sure it is dislike.

Niko Adamos is just joining the Elite 8 team. He is happy, fun, witty, snarky, and most people tend to like him...except Dix. But now his alter ego "Adonis" is going to have to be spending time in scenes with his new fake, porn boyfriend, Dix. He is determined to make Dix like him.

This personifies the thin line between love and hate. These two push and challenge each other and rile each other up but that also makes them more passionate. When in the scenes they find the zone and are magic. But in real life, they are not quite sure what to make of the other or their own convoluted feelings. They fluctuate between denial and connection, avoidance and attraction, control and chaos, cautious and impulsive, confusion and clarity in the moment, sarcasm and sincerity, and seriousness and teasing.

But sometimes the looks and touches give more away than what comes out of their mouths. Fireworks. Fun. Hope. Acceptance. Understanding. They surely get under each other's skin.

This brings back Mateo, Tink, and Malibu from Virgin Hearts and also introduces Niko's best friend, Kipp.  I am interested to see what is going on with Malibu and I just adore Tink.

Dix and Elite 8 Studios are introduced in:

Virgin Hearts

Can an inexperienced cowboy wrangle the adult movie star of his dreams?

Hawthorne
I’ve lived in the same small town my entire life. And I like it, for the most part: being a rancher, taking care of my chickens, and even my meddlesome family. What I don’t like are the limited dating options. I’m gay, and at thirty-six-years-old, I’ve never been with a man.

When I enter a contest to win my favorite adult entertainer’s support for our town’s first Pride Parade, I never expect to win. And I definitely never expect to find myself in a friends-with-benefits relationship with the man.

The problem is, I quickly realize I want more. But could someone as confident, sexy, and independent as Silver ever consider building a life with a simple cowboy like me?

Mateo
My work is my life. Filming under the moniker Silver, I’m happy enough. I’m making good money, I’m free from my crummy past, I’m well on my way to the career I actually dream about, and I’m not looking for any complications.

Enter Hawthorne Moore, with his sweet-as-molasses drawl, that adorable gap-toothed smile, and the beautiful way in which he begs, and suddenly, I find myself getting in too deep. And that’s a problem, because I’ve spent years building up these walls around my heart, and I don’t know how to bust them down.

Can I work through my trauma and lasso myself a cowboy, or will I lose the only man who’s ever loved me?

Virgin Hearts is a friends-with-benefits-to-more romance that includes a flirty performer, risqué photo shoots amongst peeping bovine, an endearing cowboy whose cock (ahem, rooster) rises at dawn, dom/sub undertones, and one very HEA. It’s book 2 in the Plum Valley Cowboys series but can be read as a standalone.
